Light theme
Allow user to choose a light theme where the dark colours change to white or lighter colours so that you don’t get depressed every time you open the app

Unread Messages
I use Grindr Extra and I use unread/read messages filter as a method of filtering potential dates, a bit like email inbox. Selecting multiple messages to mark as read or unread could be a value added feature. Also, when the message from a profile is opened and when you go back to the inbox, the profile is immediately removed in the inbox as it is now read. In theory this works well. But sometimes you want to re-check the message or profile again immediately, but it is already gone. Because I have pinned chats, re-reading a message requires to switch…

Accept/Decline Photo Messages
Have a "Don't allow photos to be sent" feature that prevents others from messaging photos without permission. That is, no one can send you any photo without the receiver first wanting to see photos from the sender. This would dramatically cut back on unsolicited nudes and I think would benefit the community greater. I personally really hate seeing nudes if I don't want to.

Exiting profile view
In the recent update, the ability to swipe right from a profile to go back to the main grid has been removed. This seems to also coincide with changing the old top left back arrow with an exit cross instead. It’s not as intuitive or easy to have to reach across your screen to move out of a profile, especially on a larger phone. Please bring back the old way to do this as it feels like a backwards step in usability

Repeated spam accounts for Trans
Endless spam accounts being set up daily, supposedly by trans women, all using the exact same photos. Block feature for these accounts however does not work and keep seeing them on the fresh tab. Mods at Grindr must realise the pics and profiles are fake every time they approve their photos.

There’s bad people
It happens more than one that people is asking for link. Send the “address” and when you go there people block you. This kind of person can do that all the times they want and I can’t do anything about it because am blocked.
That has to stop. Those kind of persons cannot keep doing that bad acts.

Scammers can block me, preventing reporting
If a scammer gets the sense that I am onto them (eg. They ask if we could switch to WhatsApp and I say no), they quickly block me and disappear from my message feed. The flaw in the system is that I am then not able to report them. Could you not leave the historical message chain active, but prevent the blocked person from further communication?

Option to disable album sharing for all users at once
I have shared my album to so many users and if I want to stop sharing I have to click on each user's checkbox individually and then click on Stop Sharing.
Please have option to remove album sharing to all users at once.

Increase minimum age to 21
I’ve run into too many immature brats on here, they’re typically 18 to 20. I recommend upping the minimum age requirement to 21 to help keep those incapable of being mature out of the app.

Blank spam taps
It's annoying getting spammed with notifications to look at the grindr silhouette, a headless torso, a landscape, etc. Too many anons don't respect bios and don't respect users who don't use the anon tag.
This spam could be prevented by giving users control over what kinds of profiles can message them, e.g the option to only receive messages from users with face pics.
Or this spam could be minimised by introducing a "no thanks" reply to taps: blanks would probably think twice about spam tapping if they could be spammed back.

Change
Stop letting people do things that you won't let others do I tried to use a profile picture that was no different than one I seen someone else use and y'all approve theirs and denied mine this app and the people who run it and work it are fucking garbage this app ain't nothing but a little slut whore app and y'all allow it to happen the creators of this app should be fucking ashamed of themselves there is nothing about this place that isn't fucking garbage the people on it the people who run it in the app itself…

Suggest review for IP block
There should be an option to request an account have its IP address blocked, possibly by compiling a list of profiles reported this way and checking the IP/MAC address associated with them. If several accounts have the same address, it would block that IP/MAC address from creating new accounts. A lot of us have the same problem with people making new accounts after blocking them, which is a huge safety concern

Get rid of fake accounts
Quick and easy. Each time you try to message someone, bring up a quick human validation test puzzle. It would be less intrusive than 15 messages from fake accounts everyday

Block profiles keep appear again. Please repair this error.

Link accounts
I recently faced a problem due to having purchased my subscription on one account and later using the option to sign in with apple ID, which created a new account and transferred my subscription to this new account. Linking accounts can allow users who have an account created using email to be able to log in using apple or google authentication without having to memorize a password and have a better management for subscription.
