1. Email verification should be required!!!

   Grindr is like one of the few platforms that do not require email verification to be a registered user.
   This is definitely what attributes people to remain completely anonymous and act like fraudent criminals. It has allowed the level of spam and in my personal experience it has helped drive a campaign of mass community harassment and stalking fed by rumors. It should also be required for your phone number to get associated with your account. And no VoIP numbers. Legitimate numbers.
   Because if people do not want to use their number and emails associated with them then they do not belong online interacting with society. What are they hiding?¿?!
   I'm sure I am not the only person who feels this way. So why is that not considered to be absolutely paramount for the safety of users of your app. Considering the nature of the app is to connect in person more than it's not. There are people being murdered all over the world in the name of homophobia, transphobia and racism. So an application and avenue in which Grindr connects people more than typical services that arent tied to being such a social and intimate connection. Why is that?

   I would really like to know the reason, if ever made aware of this to step the game up in reducing the people hiding behind their ability to be anonymous. What rewards vs. risk are people even factoring in. Because I find there to be way more reward than risk (what even is the risk) in having email verification and more identifying information needed.

3. Allow for in-app purchases without Apple App Store

   I occasionally pay for Xtra. Unfortunately, as someone on an iCloud family plan- I quickly learned that my “plan organizer” gets emailed receipts from all members (regardless of me paying with Apple gift cards). This means my mom has been getting my Grindr receipts, which is a huge privacy concern.

   As such, I’ve had to leave my family plan and request to rejoin any time I want to pay for a boost or membership. However, even that doesn’t feel secure since the receipt doesn’t seem to be sent out until the membership ends, which means I sometimes have to leave my family plan for months at a time.

   Tinder recently added the option of adding a card in-app for purchases, so users aren’t restricted to paying via the App Store. Please bring this feature to Grindr! It would improve the experience for me in a major way and make it easier to support the app.

4. Only fully completed profiles should be allow to chat with other completed profiles

   Only allow completed users profiles (basic demographic data and a real picture, we can identify fakes with AI in no time so there's no excuse for profiles pictures getting approved with landscapes) profiles that are not completed can not communicate with profiles that have the data on their profile. Its very annoying to being increpated with a blank profile asking several questions about myself when I don't even know what kind of potential creep is looking at my profile.

    queria deixar uma sugestão pro app que acho muito necessária pra realidade do Brasil: o Modo Segurança Brasil. Aqui tudo acontece muito rápido, as pessoas se conhecem e se encontram sem referência, rola encontro em casa, em festa, na rua, em evento, e muitas vezes isso envolve risco real. Falta uma ferramenta simples dentro do próprio Grindr que ajude de verdade na proteção do usuário. Algo prático, tipo botão de emergência, compartilhamento de localização quando a pessoa vai se encontrar com alguém, opção de check-in antes e depois do encontro, alertas de comportamento suspeito, histórico seguro, selo de perfil confiável e um sistema mais forte contra golpes e perfis falsos. Ter a opção de um check-in antes ou depois traz mais qualidade pro aplicativo e mais segurança real pros usuários, criando uma camada de cuidado e proteção sem atrapalhar a experiência. Não é sobre controlar ninguém, é sobre dar mais segurança e tranquilidade pra quem usa. O Grindr já faz parte da vida social real das pessoas, não é só um app de encontros, então a segurança precisa fazer parte da experiência. Isso teria muito impacto no Brasil, aumentaria a confiança de quem usa e ainda fortaleceria a imagem da plataforma como uma marca que realmente se importa com as pessoas.

14. solo setup for big tents

    Is it possible for one person to set up a large 6-8 person tent alone? My partner has a bad back so I end up doing all the work. I want a big tent for comfort but I am worried I won't be able to pitch it by myself. Are there any systems that make this easier for a solo camper?

15. Reinstate unlimited photos

    I can only send a max of 8 pictures to anyone in a single day. Which means 8 dudes, 1 picture each.

    I hate this app because of how many catfish profiles, and some of them aren’t even hot so it’s a waste of time. We use to be able to send however many pics as we wanted, but now they’re proce gouging our community, and for some of us our only way for connecting. Who ever’s idea this was, u hope you know you failed the gay community and made it even harder to find the right love.

    Let me be clear, there are several major issues with this platform, but this is enough to make me write feedback about. I’ll be on tindr till this is fixed.

16. Spam auto-blocking

    It’s really not that hard to detect a conversation where the first message is a web link and suspend the related account, is it?!

    It would be great if the Grindr product managers pulled their heads out of their asses and did the bare minimum to stop spammers before they annoy everyone. Users aren't (only) cash cows, respect their time and experience.

19. mass delete all blank profiles

    There should be option on the app to mass hide/block blank profiles/no picture in one go, i don't care what those people with blank profiles/no pictures' situation is just upload a picture onto your profile. Its annoying having to see blank profiles/no pictures everyday...im having to to hide lots of profiles with no pictures
