Picture verification
While most of the profiles dont use their face as a profile picture
However
Would appreciate a verification status of each face picture sent in the chat
This will help avoid many spammers/scammers/ in some countries the authorities

Quickly report & block spam
This is similar to another submission, but goes a bit further, so I thought I should add it.
It takes 7 clicks to report and block a spam profile. Some steps are slow.
Sometimes it is necessary to report a number of identical or very similar spam profiles to make the Grindr grid even usable again!
The normal Grindr Hiding doesn't seem to work for travelling, roaming or boosted profiles. It only works for profiles that are indeed actually nearby. Spam profiles are not actually nearby, just appear so, so therefore normal Hiding doesn't work. The only option that works…4 votes -
Grindr you need to lower your prices jacked and hornet is better than grindr and their prices are lower
Grinder you need to make your prices lower jacked and hornet is way better than grindr, and they're way cheaper you need to go see how much cheaper hornet and jacked is not even $100.00 a year way cheaper fix your prices grinder like for real go check those apps out guys and their prices and grindr, you should lower your prices to match their prices need to start a price war

Since you removed the “block” option i don’t want to pay Grindr anymore. I encourage other users to do the same. If they don’t listen to us, let’s stop paying $.

No permitir los likes en fotos de álbums
Cuando compartes un álbum a alguien, esta persona puede darle like a cada foto del álbum y al hacer eso se ve la notificación en el chat, pero la foto del álbum ya no es privada, ni esta borrosa, eso hace que aunque bloques el álbum se vea la toda la foto en el chat con el mensaje de tal persona reacción a la foto del álbum, se pierde la privacidad aunque se sea un álbum donde no se pueden tomar capturas pero igual si reacciona ya se filtra.

Grindr plays a significant role in the social and dating lives of many LGBTQ+ people. Within this space, substance use - particularly in sexual and social contexts - is a reality for a portion of the user base. While Grindr is not responsible for individual behavior, the platform is uniquely positioned to help normalize access to support and recovery resources.
I would like to suggest incorporating optional drug rehabilitation and recovery-focused content into the app and advertising ecosystem.

Adds removes completely free version unless wanting to unlock features only. Non disruptive adds.
So each time I get a message or notification and as I go to open the message to see the pics sent or reply, opening the app triggers advertising that renders the app useless until I go and close out the app and restart.
When these ads pop up I find it's always at the halfway mark of my typing a reply that now there's an advertisement taking the whole screen and I can't find it's 'x'. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a pixel 8 pro and I can never get the tiny stupid x crammed…

I think you need to check your locations and mileage because now that we only have a limited amount before it goes on to another area that we can't get to now because of the ads and we have to pay more for month I'm finding people in my area is 98 mi away 87 miles away 53 mi away when people below me in the area that I can't get to are people that live right up the street some that are 7 miles away or 13 mi away it makes no sense the people closest to me should…
