3. Filter out all the woman, girls, trans, guys with long hair.

   I'm finding it difficult to use Grindr effectively, as there seem to be many profiles that don't align with what I'm looking for. As a paying member, I feel there should be a way to filter out profiles that don’t match my preferences. The situation has become frustrating enough that I'm considering canceling my subscription, and I believe others might do the same if this filtering issue isn’t addressed. 5. My biggest pain is browsing and seeing so many female girls and their long hair. Please help me fliter them out so i can browse only MEN

   I'm finding it challenging to browse Grindr, as there seem to be a lot of women on the app. As a paying member, I think there should be an option to filter out profiles of people I'm not interested in. On Scruff, for instance, you don’t see women, so there's no need to filter them out, unlike on Grindr, where the lack of filtering options makes it difficult.

9. Map with active users and their avatars

   I would like if the app had a Map section for accessibility reasons. A map where you can see small avatars of the profile pictures of the users and where they are.
   Why? It's not the same if a guy is 1km away with a very good public transport connection, than a guy that is the same distance away but you have to take 3 metro/bus lines, or it's on the top of a hill you have to walk up (if you can walk). Some dates won't happen because of the subway/bus transfers you have to make or the uphill walk. Same distance doesn't mean same easyness. Sometimes further is easier.
   So if we could be shown where (approximately) the other person is, we'd also know how accessible their area is.

   I know this useful tool could become a dangerous weapon for some people, so the map shouldn't point at the exact location but somewhere random within 100m of the real location. Or even better, that we could chose where we appear (within a radius of our real location).

   This kind of map is currently working on another dating app (blwjbs web) and it's very very useful and lots of users in the area are liking it more than Grindr, it's an expansion opportunity too and could lose less users.

10. Allow “sides” to choose a second position

    Individuals who click “side” as their “position” may do so because they somewhat prefer side action- but the label(and filtering category) “Side” may sometimes convey disinterest in anal sex completely, which is certainly not always the case.

    I.E- there are many sides who are sometimes also very interested in anal sex. Unfortunately, other users may use the grid filters to exclude “sides” completely, thereby excluding many sides who are actually also very interested in anal sex.

    There is a sort of spectrum of self identification available to those who are mainly interested in anal sex (all the way from complete “Top” to complete “Bottom” with “Versatile” in the middle).     Can specifically make a wall to sell items used or new. Clothing, shoes, apparel, work, employment, some paid gigs, find roomates, gay job postings.

14. Sex Position: Top, Bottom (not vers)

    I am either a bottom for older men or top for younger men. It's is extremely rare that I am sexually attracted to a single person in which I want to do both. Therefore vers is not an appropriate selection for me. In other apps you can select multiple roles which accounts for this but not in Grindr.

16. Grindr Gay vs Grindr Other Genders

    Have a toggle so that people can select the genders they are attracted to. This is primarily a gay dating app. Frankly there should be an app that can house those that are looking for CD / Trans / MF Couples. Until then, add the toggle so I don’t have to waste my time blocking people to free up space bc your Xtra memberships are too expensive to just scroll & ignore.

18. Augmented filters

    Make the profile filtering more focused and accurate. I just want to see only profiles by my filters, and I wanna be seen only by the ones which I’m filtering and cross-versa. I do t care if I’m gonna see first profile 100km from me. I just want to see suitable table of profiles which I can be compatible of.

    Or use some AI integrations for this. The app starting to be old, slow and clumsy.

    I have seen a couple posts about rating profiles, but my suggestion might be a little less tacky. Instead of a way to rate the sex, maybe have a rating section where a person can rate the overall interaction, whether based on just whether you like the profile pictures, on the conversation, hanging out, or if a person wants to rate based on the sex, they can but not exclusively. It could even be incorporated into the block or report options. If 5 people in my area have already discovered a profile is a scammer or fake, it should show on that profile’s rating. For the legitimate users, it could help with self esteem knowing while someone may not want to get with you or are able to, they may still think you are hot. It would also give local guys an idea of who is worth meeting up with if they see someone with a higher rating. And for those who want to be tacky, you could even add what your rating, p for profile, c for conversation, s for sex. Lol
    On a side note, as I’m sure other guys do, I tend to attempt different approaches from time to time, whether on my profile, or in conversations. Having an anonymous way to get a rating of how my approach went would definitely help me be more self-aware.
