Grindr needs to be just for men seeking men
Grindr will not succeed as an all in one app for hook ups. It needs to be men for men only. That is how and why I can accept to pay the ridiculously high cost for subscriptions for features that used to be free or at least free in a lower tier subscription, but that’s a whole other topic for another time. grids
The grid gets limited too quickly, I can't even see all the people in my town. Hiding should not intefere with grid size. Half my grid is ads. You are making this app so user-unfriendly, just to try and sell unlimited, which is crazy expensive... I want the grid size we used to have years ago back, please, I'm already on the lookout for an app to replace this one

A veces no ponemos filtros de edad, y hay mucha gente joven que solo buscan de su edad...y gente madura que no quiere gente joven. Propongo añadir una opción o un botón, que ponga gente más mayor, o gente más joven a la hora de acceder a la grada de perfiles para filtrar gente que no nos sirve sin necesidad de filtrar por edades.

Where are men?
Grindr is now filled with trans male to female or straight men looking for trans and cross dressers. Isn’t Grindr supposed to be mainly for gay men to find other gay men? It’s turned into a straight male looking for trans/cd app instead. Also, why does it have random people thrown in that are nowhere near my location? I mean 30+ miles away and adds a random new fat person when I refresh? Grindr needs serious fixes.

Wasn't Grindr originally designed for gay men looking for men, period?

Bring back ethnicity filter
I am writing as a minority member of the LGBTQ+ community who has been deeply impacted by the removal of the ethnicity filter. Living in a predominantly white area, I have found it increasingly challenging to connect with others who share my cultural background and lived experiences. The filter previously enabled me and many others to create genuine connections and feel a sense of belonging that is often missing offline and within broader dating spaces.
Please listen to the feedback from minority communities who rely on the app for more than romance—we depend on it for community, solidarity, and understanding.

Search and share Grindr profiles.
It would be great to have the function to share your own Grindr profile or search up profiles but user id. It would better for socialising and connecting.

"Looking for" section
Profiles should offer a "looking for" age range. Also, some users use "tags" to describe themselves (which is probably the correct purpose), whereas others use it to describe what they want. Same with "Tribes" (is it what describes me? Or what I'm looking for?). Create a "Looking For" section to make this kind of thing explicit. Would save everyone time and lots of bad feeling.
