No AI generated profiles for any purpose
There are a sh*t-ton of obviously fake AI profiles that are always in my grid. Grindr is responsible, either directly or complicitly with a partner organization. Different patterns emerge and are obvious. Just one obvious example, trans women MTF, usually under 25, with a 3-word name (JuicyGemGoddess, PeepToePrincess), names are reused, pics are AI generated. If it exists for tranny profiles, it is being done for less obvious (i.e. more desirable demos).
This is a blatant violation of TOS and guidelines. If I can observe this trend, then Grindr computers must be able to. THIS MEANS GRINDR IS AWARE, AND…

Rid of force interupting ads!
I understand that this is a free version of the app so of course we will have ads but isn't that what the banner ads are for is to pay for them for it to be free that used to be like that before to me it seems like please go back to the banner ads being the only ads that are forced upon us without interrupting us as we use that I've used up way less often and ventured into other ones even though I didn't want to preferably because of this😮💨🙏

Too many scammers-there has to be more you can do.
Since I cannot call Grindre, I'm doing this. Ageism already runs rampant on Grindre. However, once guys turn 50, or over, the Catfishing scammers just don't stop.
If you need to put a user task force together to explore options on how to block, or prevent scammers from trying to exploit users, then do it. The number of wannabe scammers is simply out of control, and their stealing people's profiles too. This means two parties are targeted. It really appears that Grindre lets them run rampant,with impunity.

Fake profiles generated by Grindr
It’s clear by favouriting profiles which appear close and which only show eg a name and age that they are generated by Grindr to bulk out screens in the absence of real subscribers. Please stop generating your own fake profiles. They never reply and do not exist. They appear out of place when you check in favourites …

BRING BACK THE ETHNICITY OPTION
Why did you get rid of the search option for ethnicity/race? There is a search option for age, weight, height, build, and the list goes on. But there is no option to search for a specific ethnicity/race. WHY? It makes it so much harder to find the ethnicity/race you're interested in because you have to search through every ethnicity/race that's using your app. That's not racist, that's just the type you're into. Its outrageously expensive and when you do pay parts of the app arnt working and finally this app use to be for gay men now its not.
If you're going to charge such exorbitant prices 1. The app should work as advertised and not be full of glitches 2. The app should be for who it was designed for, GAY MEN, first of all require a face pic for every profile (if your too embarrassed to show who you are on a gay hookup site then maybe you shouldn't be here) it would also alert a person to trans people or women in general. location
i request you to please allow manual location for grindr web version. it take location of my broadband provider location. when we use mobile app it takes location of mobile but in web version it take location of internet server which could be located far away from our actual location. explore here feature is there but while using explore here feature in am unable to use filters like online user etc.

You should improve the quality app
When I received taps and open the app they doesn’t show until a long period of time, as well I’m having trouble with sending messages sometimes, they just don’t got deliver until I close and open the app again, what it seems funny it’s that you guys charge a lot for premium service, you should consider accessibility for people, most likely because your app it’s often use to promote violence between the gays.

Bring back chat backup
The old chat backup worked perfectly. This new message sync is making the app very unstable, erratic and unusable. On top of that none of the messages back up well. On the other party's messages are backed up or 'synced'. Whereas I as the sender lose all my messages. I also can't view albums or view once pictures.

Archive
Listen. There’s a lot of DL in my area and I’m often not interested when they send a face pic in private.
I hate blocking and some guys can’t handle the « not interested » text.
Archiving messages would let met keep the pictures in chat for the futur and remove the 1001 blank profiles from my inbox.

Need to select all chats that you dont want to view from months ago deselect button all would be helpfull.

Allow me to appear offline to specific users.
Sometimes people can be way too persistent, and you'll want to feel free to use the app without making yourself available to those people. And while blocking people may be an appropriate course of action in some cases, there are other cases in which you may want to stay in touch with someone on only a limited basis. Blocking people who know you personally and to whom you may be subjected in real life can also create conflict which this feature could easily help people to avoid.

App notification
Please have more options for sent notification sound for tapping and sending messages. Also, more themes for and modifications on the color of the text box messeages like messenger so it wont be awkward using it in public. Thanks. .

Hide
A filter/option to hide your profile from anyone you're not interested in. So if you don't want to be contacted by profiles over or under certain ages, without a picture or matching criteria of your choosing, then your profile won't be visible to them and they won't be visible to you. This will save time, effort and the frustration of rejections.
