Hay mucho vendedor y consumidor de drogas, últimamente la app se convirtió en refugio de drogadictos, dealers, cristaleros, slam, y más ventas y consumidores de sustancias,principalmente en la cdmx en zonas como la colonia Roma, antes grindr era para conocer hoy enero 2022 puro demente dañado por drogas. Y gente que solo busca sexo sin protección, la app ha decaído mucho al igual que la comunidad gay que pide respeto y son ellos mismos los que no respetan a uno.

Misusing another users' photos
Some are stealing photos of genuine users from social media like Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter and misusing them as profile picture in Grindr. In addition to this, they blackmail the genuine users that rob money to remove the picture. Grindr team should immediately ban the misusing user, once they are reported by the genuine innocent users.

Less mobile data usage
It appears to me that grindr uses a lot of data (eg easily dozens of MB per session, while other apps use only a few MB per session, similar usage behavior). This is a pain when traveling abroad or for people with limited mobile data.
I think this could be either optimized (better caching, better workflow with optimized image compression etc) and/or advanced settings (eg optionally disable most images in mobile network, just use chat, as a data saver option).12 votes -

When I find someone to invite to play the ability to share that profile with another member. And why are apple and android apps so different from each other and we are using the modem yet we are not showing up in the mix

If you think that holding the usability for your app ransom as a means of trying to force subscriptions yall are fools. Straight up you're going to be an app of the past and go bankrupt with that as your main offering instead of simply building a quality product. Reducing fake accounts and bots
Can you please attach a badge to a member’s profile indicating whether they are paid or free member or simply make it a pay only site? I believe this would reduce the number of fake account accounts and bots.

Reporting onlyfans/duplicate profiles
First of all I'm sick and tired of all the only fans accounts as well second whenever I report a profile that is within my area for being spam or a fake profile the account is still showing 3 sometimes 5 days later. Speed up the process to delete these accounts

Ads
Several companies have slowed their ad countdown way down to make the “5 seconds” last closer 10. Even the 30 second ads end up being longer. There’s no reason to have that many pop up ads with all the banner ads already there. It’s just greed, and I will not watch any ad through. I encourage others to do the same.

Old favourite tab please
Please bring back the old favourite tab, having a favourite tab as a filter option looks and works so annoying literally we can see the information and distance of them like we used to do in the old tab.. please please please please please please it's a request from the community and you can see all people are requesting for the same please bring back the favourite tab back to the app. It's a request update it with the new update ASAP!

Favoites tab
Bring back the favorites tab to how it was. Being sorted two profiles per row was much easier and nicer, and it’s a pain having to view their profiles to see how recent they’ve been active, also the “clear” button sounds messy and like an easy way to loose all your contacts if it gets pressed by accident.
