STOP WITH THE EXCESSIVE ADS
ENOUGH! We get it it! You want people to purchase your overpriced app, but let's get real the pop-up ads? Really? It was bad enough with the ads that popped up when exiting a chat that you grow gray hair from waiting for the ad to allow you to exit, but now I open the app and get redirected, I'm in a message and get redirected. Country Choose
I live close to the boarder, and more than half my options live in a different country. What's the point, and why would I EVER spend money on the overpriced subscription when I can't meet half these guys anyway? Make it more firndlynas many people outside the US, live in boarder areas.

Messages not sending or receiving. Major bug. It needs an update
This is a new bug affecting a lot of people. Sometimes reinstalling the app helps, but now the only fix for me personally is deleting my account and recreating if, until the issue happens again within a few hours.

Distance
Display distance (when enabled) in upper left corner of every visible profile. Only update when refreshing or changing screen. Limit to upper 9 visible profiles to reduce overhead.

Having access to see what devices are logged in and being able to remove them from your profile. And this should be available to all members

End the extremely long mobile game ads.
These ads are way too long and intrusive. All they do is make me quit the app immediately to get rid of it. Ads should be no longer than 5 secs and it’s the same game ad every damn time. This has to be the most annoying thing about Grindr. I understand the free platform needs ads to support itself but this ruins the user experience and I think there are better ways to handle longer ads. I get that an app needs ads to function. But while I’m typing a message? It’s insidious. And if u keep doing this? Eventually all homos will leave Grindr. I promise.

Delete taps! This function as "hi" and 😈 + 🔥 is bad for communication. Before this feature the app used to be pretty social and you could talk to people. Please, erase this function from the app. ✌️

Show a verified user badge on accounts who upload a clear face image like the scruff app now has so that people know the image on your profile has been verified to be you it will stop all the imposters

Social media sites often offer verification to users to ensure authenticity and safety to other users when connecting.
Grindr is often used by people that are closeted, shy and discreet, therefore even a profile that is verified without a picture would increase the chances to users to connect.42 votes -

There should be Grindr for gay men only and separate Grindr for straight men looking for trans and trans only. It's not fair to see all these straight men only looking for ts, cd, female. They have other apps for that. Take this feedback along with the others on here and make Grindr GAY again

Verification
Have users verify themselves with a photo id/passport and credit card so we can avoid bots and catfishing. Also once the verification process is complete users should have a blue check mark on their profile (something similar to instagram twitter)
