3. Fix your notifications

   For these high prices fix your app. For 1 tap I receive 3-6 messages notifications about that 1 tap. If someone sends me a message I also receive that same notification 2-6 times. Once for 3 different taps and 4 messages and 6 photos sent to me I received 36 messaged notifications. I do not pay to use this app so that I can get false notifications and deal with the annoyance. I have just let it go thinking this would be fixed in time but it seems to be getting worse. Now I am chatting and read messages and later I get notifications of the same messages I’ve read before with a very late delay. FIX THIS or give us a refund or lower these prices. Prices you have now we should not have to deal with these bugs.

4. Reduce the terrible, excessive, constant, annoying, awful ad space

   I get it, nobody wants to pay the excessive monthly fees for borderline basic features but shoving ads down a users throat in every angle of the UI is not the move. Find a better strategy to generate revenue.

8. Mass/Multiple Profile Blocking

   Right now blocking is a one by one multiple step process. It’s really annoying when the same people delete and recreate accounts and keep messaging you and you have to go to each profile and individually block them. If you can at least bring the Mass/Multiple Profile Blocking ability to the Xtra/Unlimited users it would be really great!

10. Blocks don’t work

    Now you can’t even click on the first “viewed me” profile to block the creeps looking at your profile. That’s the first issue for blocks.

    Secondly, everytime I click back into the app, the people that I’ve blocked before reappear.

    This needs to be fixed immediately. It won’t allow for a comfortable experience if my creepy neighbors just reappear everytime.

    Time limiting taps and putting it behind an already extortionate paywall is a joke. Using Grindr is a near-useless miserable experience now for non-paying users.

12. The number of profiles available for free is too little

    The free tier is getting more and more restricted by the update, it makes sense that there should be a limit to how many profiles u see for free but the number is toooooooooo little for a dating app, especially considering how expensive extra is, and now the fresh tab has been restricted as well .... This is madness, EXTRA should be for extra features , NOT essential ones ! You're slowly making the app unusable

    If I left the group then the group chat gets disappeared but it shouldn't be.

16. Unlimited Explore Profiles! Bring back

    The Explore feature used to let us view and chat with UNLIMITED PROFILES— now, even as PAYING USERS, we’re restricted to just 5 profiles a day. What used to be one of the best parts of Grindr now feels like a downgrade, and it kills the value of the subscription. Bring back unlimited Explore!

18. Bring back unlimited favorites

    I feel like features are being taken away from us and put behind (ridiculously high) paywalls. So apparently there's now a limit to how many favorite profiles you can bookmark and see? Really fed up with all the limitations. It does not make me consider upgrading, it makes me consider ditching the app for good.

20. The Membership fee is too high and the free version offers too little: Not safe or fair Privacy=Money.

    It's a fact other apps have been sued for overlooking the safety of their clients. It is not reasonable that a paying member gets incognito privileges to lurk & troll all, yet a free account suffers this secret observation by those with money. Having money does not guarantee your patron isn't some psycho, it leaves the unsuspecting others at theer y if those affording the ability to cloak themselves. Need I sight a case where several kidnappings, rapes and eventually murder happened with Adam4Adam and their GPS systems? If you are about the customer experience and most importantly, safety, it should reflect in a policy which doesn't grant the wealthy patrons to spy on those who are unable to pay your high cost of membership: Dangerous and Unconstitutionally unprotective. Think about the level of jeopardy you're putting people in with one sneaky ability: cloaking is a super power especially when compared to nothing to defend yourself with. Look at all the blank profiles who have absolutely no information on their profiles. They are lurkers, stalkers, fakes, flakes, etc.. They aren't your typical closeted person protecting their privacy, they are accomplishing protecting their identities falsifying their identities and observing exposed others.

    I also am offended by your inquiring about HIV tests and COVID-19 and MONKEY POX shots. Is this a study of some type of does the gay scene promote discriminatory behavior toward others? Who in todays society requires (or ever has) a monkey pox or COVID vaccine? Not a soul. As for HIV this is a discriminatory question with a two-fold result: Damned if you answer, and Damned if you don't. Sir, I live in a very small town and I am already taking a risk to use a homosexual dating app, I do not want 1970s procedures up in my face concerning an ailment which has been given a greenlight perhaps you should check into: Undetectable=Untransmittable. The way you've worded the question and positioned it in the health screening section lends more power to those who literally hate ppl with an HIV+ diagnosis than it lends any form of support. I can and do handle my self with honesty, I would expect a gay dating app to be up to par with the current advancements in treatment. 35 years is a lifetime of discrimination to survive from misunderstood issues bigotry ignorance reverse discrimination etc. I am not going to swing from an HIV admission in front of people I will never expose to my flowing bloody veins. Your line of questioning lends itself naturally to all the hideous insensitive and bogus fears others maintain, still, in the year 2024. I will not fight this internally by or with this community. Thank you for hearing me out. I have a tendency to run hot on certain topics as well as feel the need to protect others from un due distress.
