Stop the random profile thing.
There are more profiles around me that 150 plus miles away than there are profiles from my area. This is not helpful and I can't see it being good for you're company either. The whole thing that set grindr apart was that it was the first location based dating app. Getting rid of the the key feature that let to its success could not possibly be in your favor. This along with the constant adds and high price for subscription is not looking good. Perhaps it's time to remember what happened to gay.com ?

Non interruptive ads
Is this a dating App or an infomercial channel? Seriously, stop the interruptive adverts. No one will buy a subscription to avoid ads. We'll just use other apps like sniffies.

ADVERTISING MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO USE APP, PLUS APP KEEP ASKING FOR MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. BUT JUST KEEPS TAKING NORMAL FEATURES AWAY. THE APP VERY VERY BROKEN & GREEDY.

It looks like grindr recently made being able to view who tapped me available only to paid subscribers. Another money grab!!

The architecture of the site and its operation have become extremely complicated. All the new rules are restrictive and do not encourage us to stay.

The "For You" section
Please - take this seriously - why does the "for you" section constantly have guys that I would never even look at, and never have looked at. A completely different demographic. It's offensive. How would you like it if I pick an ugly line up for you? How would you feel? Makes me wonder if someone's messed with my stuff.

BLOCK ANYONE
Why get rid of the block feature, even guys that have interacted with me I CANT BLOCK. So dumb. There are so many reasons why we need to be able to block who ever when ever. The community is small and someone we don’t want to be seen by a certain person. Not to mention creeps that constantly annoy you. LET US BLOCK WHOEVER.

What if we didn’t put people on my local grid who are out of my distance preference? I’m not trying to talk to someone 60-200 miles away?

Devices logged into account.
I think that the amount I pay yearly for Grindr Unlimited should at least get me the feature where i can see what devices are logged into my account and being able to kick them out.

For You & (New) Explore Section
Please add an option to turn these off bc when scrolling thru if you accidentally hit one of the profiles your taken to that area and then your basically having to start back at the top once you back out + not sure there's any added benefit and ther old explore area worked fine. What about working on something we don't have....like a map.

Neurodivergent Tribe/Tag Something
It’s really helpful to find people that match, mirror, or are relatable such as ASD, ADHD, OCD, etc. These individuals usually want or desire peers that will relate or be aligned with their communication style. I know you can’t really list diagnoses and conditions, but neurotypical and neurodivergent are tribes that help each other find each other and often. If not tribe, please make something for this. It’s challenging having to explain something that only peers will truly understand in experience. I’m cool with all people, but it helps add to comfort and safety.

Distance for Favorites
You added distance info in the grid for favorites, thank you.
BUT: I have set the app to show distance in metric system, the distance of favorites in the grid is in miles tho.. please change that!!AND: Add the last seen status into the favorites-grid as well please.
Don't forget that you can just hide the distance for users that have their distance disabled. It's saying 0 feet now

Taps
Now you're charging even to watch taps. Suddenly, the entire app is going to become a paid app. What good is all that money if you never manage to completely fix Grindr? First, it's a hub for abuse; you indirectly promote hate, violence, and abuse. What do you want the money for? To continue funding your addictive and destructive business? I'll definitely stop using Grindr, not because I want it to change, but because it seems like you're funding hate.

Ser parte do cadastro para poder usar o APP, fazer o upload, pelo menos de uma foto de rosto. Agora, e está crescendo demais, a quantidade de gente sem FOTO, nem BIO, que chegam pedindo isso do outro para avaliarem e só então assumir sua posição no mundo. Depois eles, que estão escondidos no anonimato, se mostram e quem que a cara é quem se mostrou desde o começo. Isso é injusto demais. Vocês controlam tanto as coisa mínimas e isso...não.

The word “tr*nny” should not be allowed, seeing cis men using violent language/slurs to sexualize trans people is concerning
I feel as though allowing this slur is more harmful than empowering in this context. Grindr allows everyone of all gender identities to use such words that have been and still are used to dehumanize members of this vulnerable community. Sexualizing trans peoples’ existence as a whole is harmful in many ways and does lead to real life violence. I think this word is completely fine when used by a consenting trans person, but I do not want to see it, and I know most other trans people I’ve spoken to certainly do not either.
