Please restore the ability to view the most recent profile to view yours
Non-subscribers used to be able to see just 1 profile in recent views. This meant we were also able to block profiles that we felt suspiciously viewed ours multiple times without contacting us. Please restore this feature so we can block unwanted repeat viewers if we wish to, or at least create a feature to block the profile that most recently viewed yours even if you don't allow us to view the full profile.

How blocking can be abused
A feature that is troubling me is that people can block you and the chat abruptly dissapears. This often happens after the sender has said something offensive. It has more to do with the people than with the app. But still since the chat and the account dissapears, there's no way to report that account. I think the chats still should be present after someone has been blocked. Please do something about this issue.

The constant pop up soliciting boosts
The whole premise of “boosting” seems to imply throttling by the app for those who decline purchasing ancillary items.
Isn’t my participation and visibility on this platform secured by the annual $239? Boosting seems like an unwarranted sleazy maneuver in a space where a little sleaze is usually welcome.Come on Grindr, show a little self respect

Mark as Read
A batch mark as read tool would be great. Every time I download my chat backup, it marks all the old convos as new messages and going through and individually opening each one is just not a viable option. Plus, those same old convos trigger the red circle on the messages tab as if I’ve gotten a new message and it’s hard to tell if it’s just because I’ve got so many unread messages or if the app is actually glitching in some way.

The hosting function needs to be revamped. The filters are hella confusing … Well, it may confuse people because they may ask themselves well. Are they referring to me or are they referring to what I’m looking for?

Increase minimum age to 21
I’ve run into too many immature brats on here, they’re typically 18 to 20. I recommend upping the minimum age requirement to 21 to help keep those incapable of being mature out of the app.

Seperate settings for which system to use displaying distance and someone's measurements
So I live in a country that uses kilometers to measure distance and pounds/feet to measure height. There's only one setting for whether imperial or metric is applied and it affects both stats and distance. Just add a little dropdown menu to that setting for which measurements you want in which system.

grindr generated TS profiles
it's obvious to all the your creating these TS profiles. cut the shit it's pissing many ppl off. it's so interesting that I delete a plethora of their profiles only to have them almost instantly reappear with the exact same pic and profile. I'm sorry there is no way on gods green earth that there are 258 Young as in 18 to 25 yrs old TS in the Tampa bay central Florida area. again Grindr cut the crap already and give us Back our unlocked albums and who has seen us. take take take and the try to charge more......…

Make Grindr look more discreet in public
As a user who isn't confident to use the app in public, i think having a feature where you can customize the look or appearance of the conversation/chat will be helpful for people like me. When I'm about to meet someone and i need to open the app in public and contact the person i will meet, i get shy and I'm not bold enough to use the app in public. make it so you have to have a DL# social security# or legitimate mailing address to ensure youre a real person that is sincere.

Fake photos
Once photos are uploaded. They should have an option for verification with a selfie to prove who you are. And mark there profile as verified. So at least people know they are talking to the person the photo shows.

Getting notices of messages but new messages in the system can’t send messages shows a connection bedroom can get help help is blank stupidity location application is useless

Search
When I attempt to do a search the search feature never seems to work. I could be finished with a 20 minute conversation in which I enter the word house 20 times. I'll save that conversation and then do a search and grinder will come back with not found.

Views and chats dropped since the new update !!
Since the new update, the grid shows SIGNIFICANTLY less profiles than it used to.
As a result, you receive way less messages, which leads to frustration and eventually you wanting to pay for boost.
Even playing around with filters, the grid is extremely limited. Such practices should be illegal. The only way you can talk to people you find interesting right now is to use boost. Please, do something agaist people selling drugs
I don't know other countries, here in Chile people use Grindr only for selling drugs, most of them straight people (men and women). If you change your location to Chile you can easily see how many people are selling all kind of drugs, mostly weed. They even put that in their description with no shame or fear. Grindr is a paradise for Chilean drug dealers😡
