2. Banning abusive narcissists and stalkers maybe?

   At a loss for words. My best friend was abused by a narcissist for over a year. He confronted his abuser and the narcissist retaliated by filing a temporary restraining order against my best friend over total lies. My best friend has been receiving texts from unknown numbers. He’s been threatened but then received photos of the parking lot where he works and of the street he lives on. Stalking 101 right? The texts referenced the narcissist by name and The narcissist had just popped up again after laying low for about two months. It’s not a coincidence. The narcissist hads been flagged and reported to grinder several times by several people. They know the profile and have proof of the texts that my best friend is being stalked. The reports started Monday. It’s now Thursday and Grindr has done nothing. The narcissist is still on the grid and active. They haven’t responded to any of us either. People could potentially be in harms way. Am I crazy or is this bananas to anyone else?

10. Accounts ban

    I have been a premium account holder with subscription for the unlimited option.

    I would like to inform you that you have put a ban on my account even though I have not done anything illegal or against the use policy and terms and conditions. I understand other profiles may have reported me over time however this was just as aggression and hate or attack conspiracy.

    You can check my chats. I have always maintained respect and honesty. I have chosen the unlimited function and have been paying for Grindr Xtra and Grindr Unlimited regularly over the years so that I can take advantage of meeting people all over the world.

    I have noticed that when using the "Explore" functionality, the person we may contact can see me as a treat or a fake profile because they are not aware that it is possible to get in touch cross border from one country to another. This usually results in allegations that I am using a fake GPS or location to get in touch with someone say in Bangladesh (because they are not aware that it is possible to see profiles located in a completely different country from where I am based i.e. UK).

    It should also be taken into consideration that users can easily block a profile if they do not feel comfortable with my profile or me contacting them. So I am quite surprised how Grindr allow someone or multiple users to report a profile as something dangerous or as accuse of acting against the policies and terms and conditions even though that is not the case. This is just a way to annoy and almost like sabotage for genuine people who are paying extra money (during this cost of living crisis) to just give a little bit extra chance to communicate and to explore the LGBT network around the globe. The LGBT community already face a lot of hate crime and discrimination and on top of that when Grindr chooses to ban someone's profile without any founded reasons that is just not fair.

    I understand that this message may just be another email request to look into this matter in depth with a sensible eye and fairness to ensure there is no injustice in this world where us LGBT people already face so much trouble, rejections, hatred, etc.

    I mean I just dont understand.... I have not violated any rules or terms and conditions... Just because a bunch of people dont like me or dont approve me having the premium upgraded unlimited account they decide to report me and Grindr simply stab on me by putting a ban without any reason at all? I have not said anything to upset anyone or used any inappropriate language to upset anyone or said anything that is against the conditions for use.

    I hope you will make a fair decision and lift the ban on my account as I have paid a lot of money and now I have also lost my subscription. Bear in mind that this is a conscious choice that I have made to spend regular monthly subscription to help my mental health. And this is what I get in return? Not only it makes me feel very sad and upset for all the reasons mentioned above but also pushes me to almost lose all my faith in the LGBT system and feeling safe and being treated fairly by platforms like Grindr.

14. Unfair Album/Photo Trade

    Grinder users when they converse with other users sometimes enter into a picture trade. More often than not, some users who share photo albums or photos are disrespected. After a party sent his/her photo/album they are either ignored or blocked. Blocking lowers self esteem of users. In order to address this, please add a function tradeable photo albums, where both parties click on a something like Agree on Pic Trade button to say they enter into an agreement, which if both parties agreed, they will be able to have access to the tradeable album/s at the same time. And the album will be open for 3 minutes. Reopening will require both parties to agree again. After entering into this agreement, users wont be able to block a user while the agreement is active. This will address too much disrespect the people have nowadays.

    I am telling you, blocking is being abused by those who only who think they are better than the others. Let’s get the users to play fair.

17. Knowing when you’ve already seen a profile

    Change the colour of a users name when you have already viewed their profile. If you haven’t already clicked on they’re profile to view it, their name should be regular white, but if you’ve already clicked in and viewed them, their should change to yellow or something so you know you’ve checked them out and you’re not spamming them with updates that you keep looking at them

18. Groups or Rooms for Grindr

    Instead of one grid with a mixed bag of people, and only using tags, it would be wonderful if there were separate ROOMS. A lot of straight men are looking for trans women, but they get A TON of dirty pics from gay men, which they do not like. As a trans, I do not fit in with gay men. Yet I am mixed in their grid. There should be groups or rooms where gay men can see other gay men on the grid. No straight men or trans men in that group. And another room where trans, femme people can be in the same room with the straight men. There should be a room for intellects, older men, T4Ts, and so on. This would help hone in on finding quality people that are interested. Then tagging would help hone in what people are looking for, whether dates or hookups or just chatting.
