2. Taps and favourites

   If you don’t like taps they’re the most annoying thing in the world, and yet you’ve made them central to the UI and made favourites (by definition already an area of prime interest) harder to use by applying residual filters to it; we’ve already done the hard work on selecting our favourites, we don’t need active filters applied.
   Instead of all this dust rearrangement, how about your Product team spends more time detecting and blocking fake accounts? Actually add value for the customer rather than finding ways to fill a two week Sprint with nonsense.

3. Stop annoying ads

   Please stop annoying users with the stupid ads everytime you begin chatting with another user you have to close the app and reboot its a pain in the ass to everyone you are losing users and frustrate all users.

4. Favourites as filter , block vs hide , paid ‘Chat Now’ scrolls?

   By adding favourites as part of filters, you have effectively made that feature useless. You now get filtered favourites and that does not serve its purpose. Also replacing block with hide within a chat is also not productive. Why would someone want to hide vs just block. You really have some uncreative geniuses who just want to mess up the app. How much money will you extort from users. Now u have made viewing ‘chat now’ scrolls paid as well ….unbelievable

   The ‘for you’ selection produces people of no similarity or interest. There is no option to block them and neither (if you like them) can you favourite them. So blocking and favouriting need to be added to the ‘for you’ list.

   The only way I can refresh the guys in the app is to turn off precise location for the whole app and then turn it back on. This only works most of the time.

9. Subscription prices are outrageously expensive.

   i would buy another year of unlimited if prices hadnt got so high. Just not enough value to justify spending more than my gym membership. Now Im forced to switch to a cheaper app/platform because the free version is unusable.k

11. Pricing gouging: cost of Unlimited and Xtra have me bamboozled

    I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns and disappointment regarding the current pricing structure for Grindr’s Unlimited and Extra subscriptions.

    After taking a one-year hiatus from the app, I recently decided to re-download Grindr. However, upon doing so, I noticed immediately that the app had become increasingly difficult to navigate without purchasing a premium subscription. The overwhelming pop-ups and advertisements not only disrupted the user experience but also caused my phone to crash at one point.

    Despite these challenges, I decided to re-subscribe to your premium plans, but I was absolutely shocked by the current pricing structure. To say that it feels like price gouging would be a severe understatement. While I understand that the cost of services is increasing across industries, the prices you are charging are not justifiable. In fact, they reflect a critical misstep in Grindr’s approach to research and development, alienating both long-time, loyal users like myself as well as everyday folk, most of which having all good intentions. Instead, this pricing targets catfish accounts and spam advertising.

    As a long-standing subscriber to Grindr’s Unlimited and Extra plans since their inception, I am deeply disappointed. Out of principle, I cannot support such unethical pricing practices, which directly contribute to the ongoing cycle of inflation. By continuing to raise your prices to unjustifiable levels, you are perpetuating the very problem of never-ending inflation. At some point, the cycle has to stop, and it starts with companies like yours taking a more responsible approach.

    I strongly urge Grindr to review its pricing structure and offer subscriptions at a more reasonable and fair rate. This would not only demonstrate a commitment to user satisfaction but also rebuild trust with users who feel increasingly alienated due to the sky, high prices and record number of catfish accounts.

    I hope you will take this feedback into serious consideration, as Grindr’s current approach risks alienating a significant portion of its user base.

    If I unsend a chat, the other user shouldn’t be able to see that I’ve done so. The message should only disappear from the other person’s site. Currently, the user receives the following message: “This message was unsent.”

    2: do proper debuggs BEFORE you release an update.
    3: perma bann the bloody scammers, most of them have the same socials ao start there.
    4: lower your prices, windows is cheaper then you and they work better... Just know your place.
    5: hire people that can read to answer reviews, how the f do you get a complaint about "msg" to photos?

    Well I got tons more for this app but will just add one more: 255 LETTERS for info (row change use 10 wtf that's just 1) is not enough in any way at all... And that emotes use more then 1 of these 255 is also just really, in all honesty, retarded.
    We live in the 21st century so how about you join us and leave the 90's behind?
