Conversations Deleted By Grindr After One Year
I complained to Grindr that conversations were missing even though I back up daily. I was told by Grindr that messages are not kept on their servers, but are on our phones. Nonetheless, Grindr purposefully removes conversations from our phones after one year. This is beyond absurd. It is my phone. If I want conversations to be kept on my phone, Grindr has no business removing them after a set time period.

Single grid for all
Just put every profile in one grid and eliminate a separate tab or ribbon for Fresh. It's annoying to not see all profiles in one place because if someone doesn't have their distance turned on, it's too hard to figure out if they are close to you. If people want to see Fresh, just add a filter to the main grid.

Please give indication where someone is exploring from
When someone is messaging you and they’re using the Explore feature, please give an indication of how far away or their general location (not exact) - this should ultimately help weed out spammers and scammers out of the system.

Can there be lower prices for premium memberships? This would allow more people to join in and create revenue by volume not by price.
Lower prices would mean more volume of sales and increase production by at least 50% year over year and have access to more services as a free option too that will allow people to test out the products and then make the purchase.

Get rid of edge
GET RID OF EDGE, I pay to be a member to avoid all ads yours included. All you cunts want is money money money from us, you take shit away an then try and give it back but charge us for it. ITS TIME GRINDR WAS REPLACED.

Add a filter "looking for age group"
I am a 48 year old looking for young 18+ guys. I want a filter that would show me young guys looking for my approx age. So in profile description if you add "looking for age group" 18-25, 26-30, 31-35 so on and so forth. It would be easier to find my type of guys rather than randomly asking all the young guys "interested in uncles?"

This app is supposed to be free. Do not create a free application if you're just going to annoy the fuck out of us with ads. Im literally uninstalling. It's already bad enough you people have allowed a DATING APP to turn into an STD filled slut hole.

Confirmation prompt on Right Now button
There should be a prompt that comes up whenever you click on right now to confirm that's the action you meant to do. Cuz I've accidentally clicked on it too many times, when I'm not looking for rn and am in a space where I shouldn't even be on grindr in that moment.

I think subscribers should be able to access the Right Now feature for free and not be limited to two free sessions per week. Or, allow for more free sessions per week. I have Grindr Unlimited and don’t think I should have to pay for additional features that could be included.

Visible profiles of 600 reduced to 300 in Xtra
When I initially subscribed to Grindr XTRA, one of the key features was the ability to view up to 600 profiles in my area. I have recently noticed that this number has been quietly reduced to 300, while the subscription price has remained unchanged.
I find it very disappointing that such a significant reduction in functionality was made without informing existing subscribers. This change significantly impacts the value of the subscription I originally agreed to.

Diapers Tag - please read my comment
This app needs to have the tag diapers added to the tags. No it’s not everyone’s thing but the rest of the tags aren’t for everyone either, which is why we get to choose our tags. Scruff has a # feature for ABDL, diapers, etc. Recon has an ABDL tag, Switched has a diapers option, Grindr…. Nothing. ABDL isn't a concern for minors using this app to get into Grindr. People advertising for you to subscribe to their OnlyFans.
This last 2 weeks out of the first 30 profiles I get in my search at least half or more are saying subscribe to my OF account or are supposed real transgender women saying go to my social media account. I have been a Grindr user for almost ten years. But if this keeps up with these useless fake profiles I will give it a one star rating and delete my account.

Restore display by distance for all favorites
Organizing the favorites section by distance for all contacts, even those who have disabled the distance indicator, was really useful for knowing who to chat with based on who is in town or traveling. I don't think this posed any privacy or security issue, as it is a basic and useful feature of all dating apps. It also poses a major problem due to the risk of catfishing and theft of photos and information by people you can't tell if they're near you or thousands of miles away. STOP ADS FOR PAID ACCOUNTS!!!
I get promoting your side ventures — Woodwork by Grindr is a smart idea. However, many of us pay for the app simply for the ad free experience. I don’t know how many times I have deleted that ad from my messages tab, and received a pop-up ad today.

Please make explicit policy banning ABDL/diaper fetishists
ABDL/diaper fetishists are paedophiles and should not be welcome on this platform. I have seen them far too often and it makes my stomach churn. Please make explicit policy that this is not allowed and take our reports seriously. This is abominable and with increasing internet legislation, it is also a wise business move.
