make incognito better
It shouldn’t say Offline right away when we go Incognito. It eliminates the incognito part, because it’s obvious. That’s not how staying offline works. It should just continue the count down as if we logged normally.

Favourites and refreshing/notifications
Hi team...
My current pain points are how the refreshing and notifications are not optimised. I know this is not an internet issue on my end, but I am finding that when I try to login the app takes longer, and that I have to refresh the chat window separately to the profile viewing feed. Further, the application's notifications are often delayed and not always in real time. Lots of other media apps immediately notify when a message is recieved but I am noticing a delay in this for Grindr or otherwise it will not apepar until after i open…1 vote -

two sided filters that include gender
there's a lot of people looking only for trans/cd/femme people
make it so people need to both be safisfying eachothers filters
if im a regular gay guy, and you give them filters looking exclusively for trans/cd/femme then i as a result shouldn't be shown to them, and they shouldn't be shown to me
also let's all these t4t trans people avoid all the cis people seeking trans people
just let people only find who they're actually looking for instead of blocking so many profiles just to get through the clutter

Bring back the block
I am an addict in recovery navigating a social platform that has a variety of uses and purposes. In the past, once I saw a 🎈, 🥳, 💨 or capital T...... I would be able to push a button to protect my hard earned recovery. I have noticed lately that this "type" of Grindr usage has been abundant and outspoken, as if there is no checks and balances. For You feature on the app is pretty useless. Please add an opt in/out toggle in the app privacy settings
You shown me a handful of profiles usually 60+km away daily. I also cannot send a message to these profiles either on extra, I'm a mug for paying for extra that alone unlimited. Grindr is becoming pretty useless, constantly bogging down, not loading ect. Not good when people are paying a lot of money for the app.

Make profile discoverable based on Bluetooth or local network
It would be great to find nearby profiles using Bluetooth or a local network. Currently, Grindr doesn't work on cruise ships or in areas with unstable or unavailable GPS

Notification for "Account Deleted/Deactivated"
Put a notification icon where you would be notified if someone has deleted or deactivated their account for us to know that they did instead of thinking that they blocked us.

Advertisements appear too often, to the point they appear every time i open the app for ongoing chats.
It's very disruptive to the user experience and sometimes you will lose timed messages sent to you.
For everyone else, a quick workaround is to force quit the app and relaunch the app so you don't have to sit through very long ads.
