Cut back on employee perks
If maybe you cut back on some of the luscious amenities that you offer your employees the subscriptions wouldnt be so high.
When Grindr first came about it was more inclusive of the people who were youre supporters the end user. Now I believe its greed that propels you and its a shame.1 vote -

Political Advertising
Just saw an advertisement for www.IWILLVOTE.com claiming that "Republicans will take our rights away" when that is political misinformation. We all have the same human rights and the Civil Rights act protects them all and does not allow discrimination via sex, ethnicity, sexuality, or race. Whomever approves these ads needs to do better when it comes to researching politically charged language .

View count delay
We should have a view count delay!
Consider this scenario:
You see someone's small pic on the grid and wanna see more of them.
You open their profile, and immediately you appear as a view to the profile holder.
This can create a false sense of desire to the profile holder, because I may be turned off by the larger photo I saw and back out immediately with no further interest.
However, the profile holder has no way of knowing this and it is in a way misleading to them.

Make a chaser tag
There is already a tag for chub - but not for chaser. It's like having a "top" tag without a "bottom" tag.

NSFW Pics
"NSFW Pics: Never" doesn't show when others view my profile.
Also, please make the setting actually do something... it should prevent the sender's message from reaching those who don't want to be sexually assaulted via your app.

Alternate chat colour screen
With Grindr’s distinctive orange and blue chat bubbles it is very clear to another user, but specifically also to people with ill intent, exactly what app the person is chatting on.
For the safety of all users can we please have a choice of chat window colours to either something user set, is bland and nondescript or at least appears like a chat window that mimics Messenger or WhatsApp colours.

Muitos caras vendendo serviço no aplicativo, precisamos de uma maneira de diferenciar, uma nova aba, uma tribo, ou algo assim, se o cara estiver oferecendo serviço e não estiver marcado com essa funcionalidade nova, poderia ter um botão de informar e essa pessoa ser conduzida para a aba, marca, tribo etc. é muito desagradável se interessar por uma pessoa e ser informado que tem que pagar.

Add chat filter “Failed to Send”
There is no way currently to filter chats that contain messages with a status of “Failed to Send”. It is conceivable that a user might have multiples of these either intermittently or consecutively that aren’t immediately apparent to the user at the time of sending (there is a delay when the status “Sending” queues the message for outbound transit and also allows the chat context to be closed). There is currently no way at all to identify these chats without going into each chat individually to look, as the status is not displayed in the chat list either.

Forbid blank profile to send message or they should start with a clear face picture.

Photo Verification
Loads of scambots and postitutes use this app.
They use screengrabs that are not them.

Get rid of fake profiles
Sick and tired of all the fake profiles, paying member and the site is unusable as its just people pretending to be someone they are not.
Grindr needs to impose verified scheme like that of scruff.

Ethnicity
Please let us write in our own ethnicity. This resembles a census questionnaire. If I can write my own gender identity why not my ethnicity?
In french (I live in France) when you choose black it translates as African. this is problematic.
Born in Alabama, i don't tell people I'm African. The category African American doesn't exist...
Furthermore I find using color to define people outdated. many people suffer by these imposed categories and I often feel I should leave the app.
