Trans is not a sexual orientation so why is it even in the LGB ACRONYM? Let the TQ+ crowd have their own separate alliance and leave the LGB crowd to enjoy a shared identity that’s based in sexual preference and not all of this extra nonsense. And Grindr is so corny for promoting trans profiles in everyone’s feeds too. It’s clearly an agenda. No matter how many I block, they’re still a certain percentage of my visible profiles at all times. This isn’t natural. It’s forced by some algorithm that scatters them into your grid no matter what. They should have kept the location based profile format and not curated the profiles we see based on some decisions forced on the hoi polloi by our overlords.

This should already be available as it is certainly something they once provided but they have been removing so much utility over time instead of making the app more user friendly. Usually things improve as a platform gets bigger but the quasi monopoly they have on the gay market makes them behave like users are stuck with what they offer. Time to keep supporting other growing apps and forcing Grindr to compete for users

Grindr doesn’t care that so many of us are unhappy with the current trans promotion it’s doing because they are the market leader and we have yet to make them pay for their bull. Trans profiles are promoted to the grid and no matter how many I hide they are always right in the first few rows of profiles every time I log on. Clearly not distance based and an agenda of some sort. It’s so annoying and they keep blocking more and more features behind the paywall. It really sucks as an app now. So much inconvenience and bloodsucking and ads galore. I’m using Sniffies more and more these days.
