This has been posted dozens of times.. that doesn’t bother me, but it’s more likely to get addressed if you remove this post and add a comment to the most popular “race filter” post.

This is very important!
I think the chat history should be deleted, except for the last message sent, plus a note informing the user of what occurred.
I have some ideas to fix this issue, and I will add them to my post regarding the overhaul of the block user code.

Having gone thru trauma at age 13 (by a, cat-fishing pedophile stalker) I can say if it were a Grindr user, every time I saw the profile I would have a panic attack.
Grindr is not a single, homogenous community.. though it did start out that way.

Grindr might need your money or that of the advertisers, but please….
This is a simple app, easy to write, now it’s a publicly traded company.
I hope you all consider rewriting the poorly optimized and buggy code if not the entire app.
Functionality and UI have barely changed since the first release…. What has changed is the app’s stability, regressions and other defects are everywhere. The app, as currently implemented, is using more memory than necessary, and the memory leaks constantly crash the app.I could create a fast version with the identical user interface in a month or two. If I thought I could get everyone to give it a try, I know it would replace Grindr. ************Hell, Craigslist was better, faster, easier, and more effective than Grindr until they stopped allowing personals.*************
Does anyone anywhere even play those stupid games?

MOST CRITICAL ITEM
whether true or not, it’s kind of hurtful when a pg-rated picture I submit is rejected, then I scroll down and see an erect penis and semen.
Do u need a photo of this? I report them… they’re still there.
Let me add that I placed a black circle, increasing its coverage of my image, multiple times, until the photo was accepted when the black circle itself was the image.John
