    Yep Grindr is an app for people searching for sex, if you don't like it either stop using it or filter out the users with "Right Now".

    It's not only for minorities. Even white people need the ethnicity filter to find whoever they're looking for white or not.

    The problem is that Grindr has broken its main GPS functionality in order to sell those silly "boosts" falsely showing a far away user as closer. So it wouldn't make sense have a distance feature as it wouldn't work. After they remove the ethnic filter and filled up the app with trans and cross dressers I stopped paying and barely use it.

    Grindr wants us to pay to have the privilege to scroll. And I'm not paying anymore! Been years now. Without ethnic filter and trans filter there's no point to me to pay to waste time scrolling amongst a zillion users I'm not interested into.

    I think it should be a separate, disconnected section, I'm a gay biological man looking only for romance or hookup with biological men and I don't want to see anything else on my grid, no trans women, no biological women, wigs, female lingerie etc and I don't care what trans activists think, if it makes be a trans phobe then the word trans phobe has no meaning.

    It's trash, my grid is totally useless because of this, because of the removal of the ethnic filter and because of the cunning "Boost" feature showing people 7km away or more like if they were 200 meters away from me or less.
