openly promoting scambots, prostitutes, solicitation and drugs
THE SITE IS CRAWLING WITH AISCAMBOTS, PROSTITUTES, SOLICITATION AND PROMOTING DRUG SALES. REPORTED OVER 5000 WITH RATES. NOTHING DONE. THEY KEEP REAPPEARING ON THE SITE BEGGING FOR $ OR INFORMATION. GRINDR CAN EASILY BAN THESE REPEAT OFFENDERS WITH SOFTWARE RECOGNITION WHICH IS CHEAP AND EASY TO GET RID OF THIS ISSUE. OBVIOUSLY GRINDR PROMOTES THIS BEHAVIOR PUTTING ALL MEMBERS AT RISK. ITS SO ANNOYING THAT IVE HAD TO TELL SCAMBOTS TO GO AWAY. 95% OF THE TRANS ARE OPENLY SCAMMING ON THE SITE. MANY USE HATE SPEECH IN THEIR BIOS. AND NO NOT ALL OF US ARE INTO CHICKS WITH…

Unfair Account Ban and Inadequate Appeal Review
My account was permanently banned for allegedly offering or requesting paid sexual services, despite never engaging in such behaviour. The ban notice indicated that automated measures were used, and after waiting nearly two months for an appeal review, I received only a generic response stating that the decision was final, without any explanation, evidence, or indication that a meaningful human review had taken place. As a long-term user who has always used Grindr for its intended purpose, I find this process unfair and lacking transparency. This issue could be resolved by conducting a genuine manual review of my account activity,…

Full screen audio ads, Literally never
Never do that again. Are you insane?! AN AUDIO AD ON GRINDR? NO.
I pay not to have ads first of all. I can just use scruff. Remove all audio ads from this platform for everyone, and all ads for your paid tiers.

right now
How many threads need to be made about this befote you do something about it? How many complaints via email? Is it intentional to waste our remaining uses of Right Now? Or do you think it "promotes" the feature by forcing us to try it? If so, how many accidental uses are enough before it no longer makes sense as a forced trial/promotion?
Just looking at the first two pages of results (out of hundreds when searching for threads regarding "Right Now") I got 11 posts asking for the same thing.

Tone down the ads
The ads are outrageous. I dislike mid typing for an Ad to pop up when trying to message someone back. The app has gotten worse over the last few years. Tone down the ads at least not pop up during your mid typing message.

Enhancing User Safety: A Proposal for Trust Features on Grindr
En Français plus bas.
Context: Recently, there have been several serious incidents reported in Belgium and France where people have used the Grindr app to lure victims into homophobic traps, leading to tragic outcomes, including scams, theft, severe violence, and even, in some cases, death. While it’s impossible to completely eliminate risks, it is crucial to enhance the safety of all users.
Proposal: It is urgent to implement features that allow users to assess the reliability of the profiles they interact with, to better protect themselves. This could include a trust score, based on various criteria such as account age,…

Bonjour,
Cordialement,

The unlimited subscription is way too expensive.
Paying almost half of $100 every month for a mobile app has become too expensive. With respect, the monthly fee is similar to what most other paid apps charge annually for a subscription. The cost of a Grindr subscription for a year is $519.48, which is exorbitant. The cost of Xtra is still high, but comparatively reasonable. It would be great to have a single subscription option with all the features at a decent price. With inflation and the increasing cost of living, it has become challenging to justify spending $519.48 annually on top of all other expenses for a…

How a Brand Can Develop a Recognizable Image
A company’s visual style consists of more than just its logo. Colors, fonts, website design, packaging, and promotional materials must all work together so that the brand is easily recognizable across different platforms. This is especially evident for companies that operate across multiple channels and want to maintain a consistent image. Visit https://5radv.com/en/kejsyi/category-branding-and-corporate-identity to view examples of branding and corporate identity projects. These case studies make it easier to understand how a company’s perception changes after a well-thought-out design and which elements should be developed together

Bring back the ABDL tag
Grindr should bring back the ABDL tag.
We had it once and it was around for two weeks at most, while it was around, It was great. It should be brought back for those who are part of the scene. Other platforms have this including Scruff and Recon. So why shouldn’t Grindr?
