Require Person Authentication when creating accounts
There are too many fake accounts. It’s really turning me off from using Grindr. Please make everyone submit ID to verify they are a person and not spam. I want to be able to filter and only see verified accounts. (Of course deleting ID right after verification, no storing of data permanently.)

Customize sound notifications
Can you please allow the option to change the sound notifications. We should be allowed to change the sound type to our own custom setting

Grindr is now the Myspace of the gay apps. This new format will not save your preferences. No wonder no one uses grinder anymore
What was wrong with the old version? At least it's saved your preferences. This is a joke having to keep going in and saving your preferences and for the cost of this now is definitely not worth it. As I said this is now the Myspace of the gay social network

Better moderation of fake profiles
There needs to be better moderation of fake profiles because it doesn't look like there is any at all right now. There are more fake profiles than real people on the grid and you expect ppl to pay a pretty high fee to subscribe to an app that seems to get worse with each update instead of better. It feels like the only moderation done is when the people using the app report a fake profile. If we are paying for your service we shouldn't be doing the work that needs done, we aren't employees. Do better.

Trans Profiles & Race Filter
I thought this was a gay app for men. Every time I log on, there’s always more trans people on than anything else. Why don’t you do an app for that crowd- “Trandr”, if something doesn’t change soon, I’ll be forced to cancel my expensive membership and try another one. You need to have some kind of visual verification and also need a filter for race. I’m only attracted to one race so I don’t need to see all the others. DO SOMETHING GRINDR

En la aplicación existen los parámetros es decir las edades de qué edad a qué edad queremos contactar con las personas no pero hay muchas veces que aunque esté puesto el filtro y aunque esté puesto en la biografía del perfil las personas no no respetan podríamos hacer un puntuaje cinco estrellitas de una cinco estrellitas o dejar una red flak
Y de todas esas personas que se dedican a vender Powers dildos o demás podría hacerse como bloquearlas definitivamente

Favoites tab
Bring back the favorites tab to how it was. Being sorted two profiles per row was much easier and nicer, and it’s a pain having to view their profiles to see how recent they’ve been active, also the “clear” button sounds messy and like an easy way to loose all your contacts if it gets pressed by accident.

You need to fix the chat bugs
Chats are beyond buggy, they’re non functional. Notifications don’t work, I have badges showing new incoming chats when I send them. I have chats that won’t send, I have chats that disappear and reappear, I have chats that I can’t delete. You guys are seriously messing it up.

As with other dating apps, adding a filter requiring registration with identity verification not only mitigates but also reduces the number of fake profiles we have to access. Without needing a profile picture to maintain security in various countries, it would be essential for profiles registered with identity verification (whether ID, passport, etc.) to be recorded in the system. And if their profiles are banned multiple times for creating fake accounts, they should lose all access to the application.

Correlaion using non numerical values?
hi guys. I have a dataset and I want to find correlations between the columns. some columns are non numerical data though (like countries or gender for example). what do I do in this case? I thought about labeling those with numerical values (just categorize into groups x trench run ), but I am not sure if it is then valid to calculate the correlation from these values. any idea and help is greatly appreciated

The cost is really high and should be free for us user for a month or at least make it cost like $4.99 or give us a month free subscription please and thank you.

Time travel
The Problem: We often spot someone on the grid while driving or working but can't chat immediately. By the time we are free, the user is gone.
The Solution: A "Rewind" button to see a static snapshot of the grid from 1-12 hours ago.
Why: It solves missed connections and increases engagement. Great potential as an Xtra/Unlimited feature.
Safety: Only show "Was nearby at [Time]", never real-time distance for past views.2 votes
