Subscriptions Prices and Options
I would possibly be interested in trying a subscription but the price would need to come down some and second I as a customer would want optuons available such as a one time payment for a month, for three months or maybe six months. With NO further automatic payments being deducted ir charged. I am not sorry to say this but the amounts you are charging now are off the hook and seem very greedy to me. Setting for Grindr's ability to open browser apps like "Chrome" and "Safari"
It would be comforting to know I have an option in app to control what other apps Grindr can open automatically or even when I click on it accidentally. As of now there is no such option. If there was at the very least there should be a confirmation prompt once you click on the ad.
I've also made a report on Chrome to which we'll see if there is a helpful response.10 votes -
New interest page
The interest page got a new layout. The list of views is now horizontal, the names and distances of the profiles are no longer visible.
This makes it worse to use. Until now, when the last view was visible for free (without being able to open the profile), you could tell if the profile was nearby or even who it was (from the name of the profile).

Remove the AI feature
Remove the AI feature as it appears to be creating fake/spam accounts and spamming users. I have been contacted by 4 accounts using AI generated images of females (clear they are AI) and this probably won't get through to support. I have screenshots of these accounts but there have been many more.

Remove Taps
Taps are annoying & useless may I request that Grindr gets rid of taps for good? Because users on the Grindr app hate taps & it takes up space for better features on the app. I remember in 2020 I seen a guy said in his bio that if you gave him a tap he’ll block you. Now users can’t see taps unless they pay for the extra feature or get Grindr unlimited. It was never like that users were able to see taps for free. Issue with the placement of “Right Now” button
I find the placement of the “right now” button (the little bubble on the lower right corner) is extremely annoying. There were many times I accidentally activated this feature while scrolling.

I work in high performance computing and AI. It doesn't take a human to quickly recognize multiple profiles with the same photos, same bio text, and all created around the same time. No human required. You need to step up your spam account game. I spend about 50% of my time on this app reporting fake accounts. I'm not going to keep paying for this app at the ridiculous price of $28/week if I'm doing your job for you. My hourly rate at my place of work with benefits is over $225/hour. Grindr Gay vs Grindr Other Genders
Have a toggle so that people can select the genders they are attracted to. This is primarily a gay dating app. Frankly there should be an app that can house those that are looking for CD / Trans / MF Couples. Until then, add the toggle so I don’t have to waste my time blocking people to free up space bc your Xtra memberships are too expensive to just scroll & ignore.

Age Filter Changes
Age filters are a good idea, but why do you keep fucking with them? First you used to be able to just enter the age/s in the search and away you went; it was good. Then you brought in that stupid slider to do it. Okay, not a great feature, but at least we can still use the filter properly. But now you've stopped it working.
