3. Remove Taps

   Taps are annoying & useless may I request that Grindr gets rid of taps for good? Because users on the Grindr app hate taps & it takes up space for better features on the app. I remember in 2020 I seen a guy said in his bio that if you gave him a tap he’ll block you. Now users can’t see taps unless they pay for the extra feature or get Grindr unlimited. It was never like that users were able to see taps for free. Please Grindr I invite you to think about removing taps at this point it’s useless to keep it especially now that users can’t see it. And when you remove taps users would have no choice but to message each other because users would tap each other but not message them which makes no sense. It would also improve communication among users.

4. Stop making free features somethig we have to buy now.

   Stop charging for free service. All these bullshit ad's and the taking away of features is taking an already fucked up app and making it something I won't be using. 1st off half my "local" profiles are all 85 miles away.... bullshit.
   Then u wanna add more ad's in between ads.... double bullshit.

6. Hide is unnecessary

   As a user I do not want to be able to "hide" AND "block" profiles. I either don't want profiles to be accessible and them.having access toy profile (ergo: block them) or I can tolerate their presence. The ability to hide certain profiles (e.g. who did not show interest in me and whom I am not interested in) instead of blocking them is unnecessary, since I am able to unblock them at any given time. The disability to block them and just being able to hide them is redundant and at the moment not even functional.

9. Issue with the placement of “Right Now” button

   I find the placement of the “right now” button (the little bubble on the lower right corner) is extremely annoying. There were many times I accidentally activated this feature while scrolling.
   Please have an option for anyone, who doesn’t need this feature, to disable that button please.

    I work in high performance computing and AI. It doesn't take a human to quickly recognize multiple profiles with the same photos, same bio text, and all created around the same time. No human required. You need to step up your spam account game. I spend about 50% of my time on this app reporting fake accounts. I'm not going to keep paying for this app at the ridiculous price of $28/week if I'm doing your job for you. My hourly rate at my place of work with benefits is over $225/hour. I think you owe ME money back for my time! Get better devs or I'm out. And if you don't, I'll get a team to make a better app at half the price and put you guys out of business. You can fix this problem. You are actively choosing not to.

13. Add a filter "looking for age group"

    I am a 48 year old looking for young 18+ guys. I want a filter that would show me young guys looking for my approx age. So in profile description if you add "looking for age group" 18-25, 26-30, 31-35 so on and so forth. It would be easier to find my type of guys rather than randomly asking all the young guys "interested in uncles?"

14. So many bots lately!

    I live in a small city (250k) - the amount of bots (all with the same downtown/obviously VPN set location) is absolutely wild. Every single one of them is (of certain not-gay-man identity) promoting their OnlyFans through twitter/x or Snapchat/telegram. I’ve been an unlimited subscriber for 3 years or so - Grindr DO BETTER!

15. REMOVE THIS DAMN GRUNTING Noise

    I don’t know what Product Owner/Manager thought this stupid grunting noise up but they should be fired immediately. It’s just not needed. How about you fix it so when someone taps you, you get a damn tap noise again not this stupid garbage that you say you can shutoff but I only see a choice for all sound and I don’t want to shut off all sound. As a Product Manager myself, I know the end user doesn’t want this garbage, especially when they pay $140 a year for it. Either remove it, or come up with a way to just shut that damn, vulgar, gross noise off by itself.

18. Reoorting Only fans

    Everyday I was getting tapped by people with a profile that started with TS and it had the same girls picture on it they just started changing up the picture on it but when I go to report it I would report the four of them cuz it always come in fours, Then I thought I would go and look in the explorer map area for profile switch if we want to contact one we would get one a day to look we used to get three but I kept coming across more the TS profiles and I reported four one day and then another four and then all of a sudden I was blocked on looking at profiles in the explorer map area like one of the moderators got mad because he had to look into the all these profiles that I reported a total of maybe 12 or 13 with the TS profile almost the same picture different poses of the same girl.
    I'm just trying to make grinder safer in and better for people with these get these only fans people off of here and then there's these I'm looking for a a baby to give fourth K2 and to pay off their debt I report all those I figured going into the explore map area and getting ahead of the game and reporting the rest of them you can maybe go compare the IP but now grinder is blocked me from even going in that area where we used to get at least look at one profile in contact one free per day what we used to get three before that and five before that and now you can't even look at the profiles what's the point?? You take your beta testers and you just screw them. Maybe I'll just get rid of grinder altogether
    These profiles would tap you and then drag you into a conversation and then slowly bring up the only fans and then you report them so I went ahead and reported the TS profiles because if you check out the ones that I reported from 2 months ago to now you'll see that it's the same pictures the same people doing the only fans and I just want to try to get ahead of that to maybe you could compare the IPS or something to ban them for good to make grinder better and then you punish me by taking away my explore maps of the only one a day I had where we used to have three.. pathetic

19. Age filter

    Earlier I could filter any age group in the age like 18-18, 21-23, but now if I want to set an age it is fixed at at gap of 6 like 26-31 and it doesn't go any lower like just 1/2/3/4/5 age gap. That's ridiculous. I am forced to see people of age I don't want to.

20. Make the app less expensive

    Absolutely unaffordable in my country. It's the price of a mini fridge. Was a good app before, but not worth paying if you can only see 6 or less people from your area. Please fix this, rather increase the restrictions on the filters as you had in the past and have more people instead...because at this point, it isn't a social dating platform.
