Timed blocks
Hey, I would like a new feature. I would like to block people but on a timer so that they unblock automatically after say one to six months. This feature would be nice because I don’t want to see people who aren’t interested in me on my grid. Otherwise, I message them again and that’s embarrassing. But I want to hold space for people who might just be busy and might respond if I message later. Also, I change up my profile pictures, which affects how frequently people respond.

Auto block empty profiles and prevent picture sharing without the recipients concent
As the title says, the app would be 10 times more enjoyable if men could not send me dick pics and would stop the endless spam from bot accounts posting virus links in chat.

Augmented filters
Make the profile filtering more focused and accurate. I just want to see only profiles by my filters, and I wanna be seen only by the ones which I’m filtering and cross-versa. I do t care if I’m gonna see first profile 100km from me. I just want to see suitable table of profiles which I can be compatible of.
Or use some AI integrations for this. The app starting to be old, slow and clumsy.

Chat Backup
is it me or chat backup doesn't work properly, on multiple ocasión i set my chat backup and seem every time I do so it fails to save for auto back up daily. would be nice IF THEY SOLVE THIS AND enable auto backup frequently not just daily, weekly tec.

expand limited viewing
the recent update extremely limited the number of users shown with only one “tribe” filter on, and forces you to pay to see more. i’m limited to see 12 users within 3 miles of me. wtf before i could see up to 15-20 miles away. no one wants to pay an obscene amount for a hookup/dating app. stop pushing Xtra and focus on a superior user experience instead and maybe people would be willing to meet at a reasonable price.

Promotional emails are difficult to delete
When an email comes from the grindr staff, it can not be deleted. When I delete these messages, they reappear immediately when I refresh my inbox. If I’ve read it, I should be allowed to delete without further harassment.

too many spam and fake accounts
BOT seems to seek out men over a certain age and why is it Asian men asking for friends and next question “What do you do for work!” Why? It’s not important. Then they reply that they are in finance. Everyone of them.

App is broken with paywall garbage
I blocked 50+ guys to get someone further away up in my feed, now that you’ve put paywalls on everything and allow guys not be seen in explore.
NOW you’ve just shortened my list of guys to talk to, and found an endless supply of profiles to put in place of the blocked profiles, specially keeping the one profile I want to message out of range in the xtra section. You people are fucking pigs. You will never get my money , ever.

See when someone is typing from messages screen
It would be really nice if with the unlimited membership you could see people typing directly from the messages screen and not have to open individual chats to see when someone is typing. It would even be nice to see when someone is typing in the explore screen.

incorporating AI-driven match suggestions that not only rely on past matches but also adapt based on user preferences and interactions (ensuring this is conversation based and not ethnicity based).

Why did Boost become a thing?
Ok. Let me get real here. I have had xtra for the last several years. Yes, years. Consistently paid, rarely missed a month. And yeas I have paid the monthly versus the yearly because, frankly, my health insurance is cheaper. Ranking option
Please add Ranking option to know the use is good or bad . Instead of tab switch can be added "LIKE" and " DISLIKE" option.

Rate option
I have seen a couple posts about rating profiles, but my suggestion might be a little less tacky. Instead of a way to rate the sex, maybe have a rating section where a person can rate the overall interaction, whether based on just whether you like the profile pictures, on the conversation, hanging out, or if a person wants to rate based on the sex, they can but not exclusively. It could even be incorporated into the block or report options. If 5 people in my area have already discovered a profile is a scammer or fake, it should show…

More body type options
There seem to be no options for leaner guys who aren’t muscular or toned. In essence, “muscular” and “toned” could mean the same things. It is also amazing how different guys have a different definition of each of the body type options. It would help to have small icons next to each of the body types so guys know the definition. It would also help is there were options like athletic, lanky, semi-athletic. The options available now feel like they are shaming if you don’t spend excessive time in the gym.
