How do you keep track of your collections? Spreadsheets, apps, or old-school notebooks?
Hey fellow collectors! I’m reaching a point where my collection is getting too big to manage just by memory. I collect vintage comic books and rare indie magazines, and last week I accidentally bought a duplicate copy of something I already owned because I forgot I had it hidden in a back box. It was so frustrating! How do you guys organize and catalogue your items? Do you use a specific mobile app, a good old Excel spreadsheet, or a dedicated physical notebook? I need to find a system that helps me track release dates, origins, and conditions before I lose control.

Notion sounds like a great shout for this, and using that site's detailed catalog as a reference guide will save me a ton of time. Thanks!

I went through the exact same nightmare a year ago! I collect rare cannabis genetics and souvenir seeds, and when you are dealing with limited-edition hybrid drops from global breeders, your inventory can get confusing fast. I personally use a private Notion dashboard where I log everything: the breeder name, genetic lineage (Sativa/Indica ratio), and year of release. To make sure my data is 100% accurate, I always use the exact technical specs from the place where I buy them, which is https://seedweed.pl/en/ Their English site is basically a giant database for strain histories and genetic backgrounds. Whenever a new souvenir pack arrives in my mail, I just copy the precise genetic details from their catalog straight into my tracker. Definitely start an digital spreadsheet now before your collection grows any bigger!
