   Grindr’s system for reviewing accounts is ridiculous. I was a paid subscriber for 4 yrs and all of sudden I received a ban. The appeal process is as ridiculous. I was banned for no reason, I NEVER violated any community rules or standards. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE DO NOT PURCHASE A SUBSCRIPTION BECAUSE YOU COULD BE BANNED FOR NO REASON AND STILL BE BILLED… Grindr seriously needs to review how they determine a account ban.

11. App should be interested

    I ask the providers to have a look into other apps to compare it with grinder. It's been around 9 or 10 years i use this app until today but all users they're agreed this is the worst period for the app i see. The subscription cost too high!! and the biggest issue it's getting crashed whole day for messages and even hours it's stay dissconected so you simple just lost your money. 2point for filters,searching or explore and visit the profile, it's horrible what app it's only show you 3 person!? Or ylu have to subscripe to Extra then you will need to get unlimited..
    I suggest for you to make interested to add some of featuers,
    1YOU CAN ADD THE STATUS EVEN IF JUST FOR A DAY 24H.
    2all your featuers should be all together and just change the period for the subscription.
    3CHANGE THE COST OF YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS, THERE'S NO ONE WILL LOSE THEM AND GET NOTHING DESERVE IT.
    FYI :. THIS I SUGGEST AFTER SUFFER WITH THE APP BUT WITHOUT GIVE YOU A FEEDBACK OR COMPLAIN. I USE IT FOR SO LONG TIME MANY AND MANY YEARS, THERE'S MANY APPS AND EVEN ALL FOR FREE WHAT STILL YOU DON'T HAVE IT IN HERE. SO CHANGE THE IDEA WE DON'T WANT TO JUST LEAVE AND UNINSTAL THIS APP.

14. Costs more than Netflix

    Hey team,

    I do find it quite funny that Grindr costs more than Spotify, Netflix, Disney+… etc.

    Most gay dating apps have their prices around 10€ just as music/movie/shows streaming services.

    Is there a reason why Grindr charges unbelievably high? It’s even more expensive than my gym + swimming membership combined. The app is even riddled with ridiculous bugs.

    I genuinely want to subscribe but 30-40€ a month is straight up clownery.

17. There are a lot of glitches on the app right now. It’s hard for me to consider renewing my membership when the app’s been buggy for a month.

    Fix the bugs and get the app in working order for your customers. Received chats not hilighting. It alerts me a message for the message I sent. The messages aren’t appearing in the dialogue box. You have to back out of the convo and back in to see what you had just written. Etc… have someone run through the app and log the bugs, and then debug for your paying customers at least.

18. Make Grindr like Sniffies...More web-based vs app-based and browse outside of your location!

    The competing platform "Sniffies" has alot of functionality that I would like to see on Grindr, but here are the top 2 most important.

    1. Make Grindr more web-based and less app-based. Web-based has many "benefits" compared to app-based environments (posting nudes publicly comes to mind, hehe). But in all actuality, an app-based platform is tied to Apple or Google, and if someone changes platforms, their Grindr subscription cannot follow them (Apple app store Grindr Unlimited can't work on Google phones). It would be nice to have the choice to use my Grindr Unlimited perks on the website, Apple or Google (I understand you cannot pay 1 subscription for all 3 platforms).

    2. Ability to browse outside of your geo-located area. Sniffies "travel" concept comes to mind here. As others have mentioned, there are some legitimate reasons why users might want (or need) to browse outside of their geo-location. It is a highly useful perk to have.
