  1. Favorites starred tab

    Please consider putting favorites/starred profiles back where it was, or at least separate it from the other search tabs (online, position, etc). It is not the same with favorites as looking at other profiles. Having to change 2-3 tabs just to see my whole fave list is irritating.

  2. Hide is unnecessary

    As a user I do not want to be able to "hide" AND "block" profiles. I either don't want profiles to be accessible and them.having access toy profile (ergo: block them) or I can tolerate their presence. The ability to hide certain profiles (e.g. who did not show interest in me and whom I am not interested in) instead of blocking them is unnecessary, since I am able to unblock them at any given time. The disability to block them and just being able to hide them is redundant and at the moment not even functional.

  3. Filtering by race

    Allow filtering by race once again. I have a ton of friends of different ethnicities. I’m not a bigot. But I’m physically attracted to certain things. We all are. It’s an animalistic nature. We are animals. It’s learned in our science class when we are tiny kids. Allow us to search for what we are looking for. This app is the most expensive app most of us use. By far. Make it worth it!!!

    Here's an idea....a list where u can keep track of your favorite chats. U can even call it "favorites" and put notes along with the favorite member.

    I wish that the app doesn’t show people far away within the grid…I keep seeing people that are over 60 miles away next to profiles that are only 1 mile away.

  12. Verify account to reduce Ghosting and fake profiles

    It appears Hosting and fake profile to solicit pictures and to raise user emotions before ghosting them is becoming more common than not.

    Not only does this impact the mental health of users who are being ghosted, but it seriously impacts the user and makes them question their existence without our community.
    Fake users are getting off on getting attention but never following through, nor ever going to meet, but lead the user on before blocking them 2 mins before meeting.

    There needs to be some facility within the app to verify the user, or a 'commit to meet' option…

  13. New changes to favourites means you can no longer see when they were last online, a feature that was very handy.

    The recent upgrade in the app has resulted in favourites moving to a grid, just like everybody else, I it was much better the old way. It also means you can no longer see when they were last online without clicking on their profile, a feature that was very handy/useful. Displaying favourites differently to the regular grid was a great feature of the previous generation of the app.

  15. Make viewed me free again

    This is ridiculous now. Now you can only view profiles who have viewed you if you have an unlimited subscription.
    This is now starting to feel like grindr is pushing lower or poorer users of off the site by trying to force us to pay now to interact with users who have viewed our profile. This is a joke I get viewed from users who are like 8+ miles away sometimes and I can't even view their profile now.
    Why is grindr getting so money hungry u keep saying ads keep grindr free well I guess thats just a lie…

  17. Block is no longer available

    The block option is no longer available and was replaced by the hide option. Blocking a user is an essential safety tool in Grindr that can protect us from violence and harassment. Disabling it put in risk the safety and privacy of Grindr users.

  20. Not being able to browse very many profiles without paying for it

    You should have a little more freedom to browse more profiles without having to pay for the app, you can only browse a very limited amount of profiles without having to pay for the app
