Locking chats already underway, forcing subscriptions. I’m DONE
It’s unbelievable that Grindr decided to start locking chats already started, forcing us to get a subscription to continue them. That, along with countless spambots that Grindr clearly doesn’t care are annoying, mixing in people from 189 miles away with people 1 mile away, and ads that pop up mid sentence in a chat, have made this an unusable piece of shit.
I’m done with this car accident. They don’t care about fostering community - it’s all about money and nothing else.
EVERYTHING they do now has killed the reason for the app - CHATTING

More visibility of free profiles 100
It's unfair that I only see 45 profiles for free, and I have to pay extra for more, and I only see people from neighboring countries whose language I don't understand, while others who live in the center of the country don't have to because they don't have these problems, by doing so you are violating my rights to the same experience and you should be sued!

Request Better Album Controls
I’d like to suggest a few improvements to the album and video features:
1. Allow longer videos – The current video length limit feels too short. It would be great if users could upload longer videos.
2. Multiple videos in one album – Please allow adding more than one video inside the same album, instead of limiting it to a single video.
3. Permanent album timer setting – Currently, every time I share an album, I need to manually set the viewing time again. It would be much better if we could set a default album viewing time once in…2 votes -

Instead of taking up room on everybody's grid why don't you restrict it just to the unlimited users since they are the only ones who can use it .?

Turn off taps
Seriously this app has gone to complete hell. The taps are all tranny bots scammers, and hookers. Since you’re clearly not interested in verifying who uses this platform, at least let those who are showing out hundreds of dollars the ability to get rid of this useless feature.

Dear Grinder Support Team,
I am a long-time user of your application and I have been using Grinder for several years now. However, I am extremely disappointed with the current service and pricing model.
Despite using the app for so many years, I have not received any meaningful free features. Almost everything is locked behind a very expensive subscription. For a loyal user, this feels unfair and frustrating.

Unlimited should be UNLIMITED!!!! XTRA/UNLIMITED should be worth the membership cost
Unlimited memberships should be just that, UNLIMITED... We should have unlimited free use of the "Right Now" and the "Boost" features. We pay way too much for unlimited as it is. Its called unlimited, all the features should be included at NO ADDITIONAL COST/CHARGE. XTRA membership should also come with some additional free usage over what non paid memberships may receive. Make the paid memberships worth what we are paying for them.

Spam messages and Taps
I get WAYY too many messages from fake, spam, or content creator profiles. I have chatted with a handful of people and when it gets time to meet they want gift cards or cash app etc. obviously a scam but it’s already wasted time when I realize it. I’ve been a paid member for 3 years so I know if I’m dealing with it everyone is. This app has really almost become useless because of the number of fake messages and taps I receive.

All the Spam from people advertising and all the Only Fans garbage
GRINDR needs to do something about this. Honestly, it seems like 1/4 of profiles now are these idiots advertising their ONLY FANS garbage, and another faction setting up new profiles every day to SPAM users with alternative websites to GRINDR. It's so tedious and annoying, it's beginning to seriously detract from the website experience. You are going to start losing more and more people.

Make the app usable with a vpn. Why should i have to turn off my vpn to use the app?
I dont use the internet without a vpn as that is unsafe, however the app is basically unusable if my vpn is on, the chats dont load, orher users dont update, blocks and taps dont go through, messages never send. Its truly irritating and shouldn't be the case.

Send notification when profile picture approves
It can take anywhere between 40 minutes to 2 hours to get a picture approved, and I would not want to chat with other profiles without the pictures I want on my profile. Currently there is no way to tell when your picture got approved so either you constantly check the app, or you wait 3 or more hours. Which is a waste of time and mental emergy. Please add a push notification for approval of profile pictures.
