  3. Revert New Activity Tab Layout

    The new format has tabs for the "main page", "activity" (which is just taps and views), and then "chats" in that order. The most useful features in the app are the main page with user profiles, and chats.

    Activity is just incredibly noisy. Taps were already a nuisance in the app that many people tried disabling. In order to even do anything with a tap, you still need to chat with the person. Unfortunately you've moved this in between the two core features of the app, and there's now a permanent red notification icon there since in the city someone…

  4. Layout of sections and informativeness of the application

    After the last update, the question arises, administrators and developers, do you use the application yourself? It has become terribly uninformative!
    As a user, I'm not interested in who viewed my profile, but I'm interested in who reacted to it.
    "Views" used to be quite successfully reflected separately in the upper part of the application.
    Return the "Tabs" to the messages section! All incoming information ("Messages" and "Tabs") should be in one section!
    And there is no need to highlight the "Albums" that were shared with me in a separate tab. No one comes back to them a second time…

    Put the taps back in the chat and not its own menu. And remove people I have tapped. I know who I tapped I don’t need to see a hidden list of them.

  10. Stop degrading the functionality for the free app

    Stop degrading the functionality of the app by adding more and more ads and by limiting the users ability to access other profiles. Now you can’t even see who tagged you unless you pay ??!! The tag function (“hot”) thus becomes totally useless ! Only way to show interest will then be to send a message. Also the access to users more than 1 km away (seems distance is the trigger …) requires XTRA subscription - very hard for me to understand the rationale (except for making money of course).

  13. Could you please prevent users with empty profiles and without face pics from contacting me?

    I made it clear on my profile what I don’t want. But it seems they don’t know how to read. It’s very discourteous. Grindr needs to do something about it!

    Too many faceless horndogs, ignoring my prohibition of NSFW photos. It is harassment. Stop it!!!

    When collected to a bluetooth speaker (car in this situation) you pull down the screen to refresh Grindr, but starts play last song in Spotify, unless this is my phone only? I’ll be interested to know if others have this issue? 🤔

    You close App, then go back in Grindr and it will play the same song again..

  17. Make the app work at least

    App REFUSES to refresh. I have to out and back in at least 3-4 times for it to actually work and refresh as it should. And I would get notified for a message, but when I go into the app, it doesn't show the message because it won't refresh

  19. Can’t see taps older than 3 hours

    The new update requires that I be an XTRA member to see taps that are older than 3 hours, but that’s really inconvenient. What if I get a tap after I fall asleep and then wake up and can’t see it? Or what if I don’t check my app for a few hours?

    I’m absolutely not paying for XTRA so all this does is piss me off and make me prefer Scruff even more.

  20. Predatory older men and young gays - Cost

    Making verification so expensive put trans people and young gays at risk. I am 32 years old but I turn my age off so late at night the older gays will prey on me. Right now I’m in the lobby of his apartment and before he told me his address he demanded $40 so he could get drugs. I am wearing my clerical collar so when he and his “roommate” saw me they decided to shake me down for cash. When I wouldn’t give him money he basically said he didn’t want sex anymore.
