1. A LOT OF Fake profiles

   Urgent feedback on user experience and platform integrity

   Hello,
   I'm writing to report a significant issue with the app's user experience. Recently, there has been a noticeable increase in what appear to be fake profiles and accounts from OnlyFans members. This is significantly impacting the app's usability and the quality of interactions.

   Additionally, I've observed a surprising number of ladies profiles I was under the impression that this app is intended for I assume mostly gay men ? , so this seems to be a or an issue with the matching algorithm or are they fake profiles as well ? Just seems weird that this has happened recently and a “lot” of these fake profiles

   To address these problems, I suggest the following:
   * Implement stronger profile verification: This would help reduce the number of fake or spam accounts, improving trust and safety on the platform.
   * Enhance moderation and filtering tools: This could specifically target and remove profiles promoting external content, like OnlyFans.
   * Review and adjust the user matching algorithm: Please ensure that users are being matched with others who align with the app's intended demographic, as well as their specified preferences.

4. Auto refresh

   Ever since the last fuck-update every time I click on a profile then go back, the screen automatically refreshes and jumps back to the top of the list. It's infuriating to navigate the app now and makes me want to delete it which would cause me to lose money I've already paid for the ultimate package.

5. Drug misuse

   Dear Grindr Team,

   I want to share my experience with your platform, both as a user and someone who has been in recovery from meth addiction for the past four months. Two years ago, I was introduced to meth through connections I made on Grindr. While I acknowledge that my addiction is not the fault of Grindr itself, the platform unintentionally enabled my use and subsequent addiction due to the ease with which drugs are promoted, sold, and accessed through bios and display names.

   During one of my relapses, I had deleted all contact with drug dealers, but I was able to download Grindr again and access meth within 20 minutes. This highlights a concerning issue: Grindr can sometimes serve as an avenue for people struggling with substance abuse to connect with dealers, making recovery and sobriety even harder. For someone in recovery, this is incredibly triggering.

   I believe Grindr could take a more active role in combating the promotion of drugs on the platform by monitoring and removing bios and display names that reference drug use or sales. This kind of intervention could go a long way in preventing harm. Additionally, I think it would be immensely helpful if Grindr provided users with resources or links to local support groups and services for drug and alcohol recovery. Even a small step like this could have a big impact on individuals who are struggling or seeking help.

   Grindr is uniquely well-placed to provide targeted support for the community that uses its app. The platform has the potential to not only foster meaningful connections but also act as a resource for users navigating personal challenges like addiction and recovery. By taking these steps, Grindr could play a critical role in improving the well-being of its community.

    Na verdade é mais um desabafo entrei no aplicativo por um tempo e tive minha intimidade e problemas sexuais expostos de pessoas que se envolveram tento seguir minha vida mais isso acabou comigo ainda em uma cidade do interior e sem ter como ir embora nunca consegui me envolver com ninguém e nem consigo mais encarar mais as pessoas nem meus pais e ainda ter que ficar suportando as conversinhas e risadinhas de grupinhos e ainda por cima quando tento falar me chamam de revoltado, tento diminuir o que passei ou dizer que estou exagerando e me mando fazer terapia não pelo bem, mas colocam a culpa em mim por estar passando por essa situação tem dias que chega a ser insuportável tento fazer academia, estudar algo novo mais tem vezes que só quero ficar o dia todo deitado na cama. Eu sinceramente espero um dia consiga lhe dar com isso e voltar a ser feliz um dia e encontrar alguém bacana que não se importe sobre a situação em que passei. Sinceramente peço que o aplicativo melhore e ampara os usuários que usam esse aplicativo e tome todas as medidas legais. E espero que ninguém passe por o que passei e se passar que sejam amparados pelo aplicativo, pela justiça, pela terapia e familiares.

15. Get Rid Of Stupid/Features Buttons, Ads & High Pricing

    Grindr has just gone to Abusive for me to use for the following reasons -
    ● Way Over Priced For Most Of Our Community
    These are broken or unnecessary added features-
    ● Why are profiles 1mile next to 58miles away ?
    ● Unnecessary/Useless features - On Bttm Menus
    • Interest Button & New Right Now Button
    ● Limiting number profiles one can view on free vers
    ● Why Don't Filters don't work to filter unwanted
    things (If I don't prefer something Why does app

    ● Advertising is to intrusive & takes up WAY TO
    MUCH SPACE on my screen & don't need sound
    or ads that take me out of Grindr App
    ● Grindr more interested in $$$ NOT What started
    for "Helping GAY/BI/STR8 Men to meet up"
    ● IF Grindr wants to include Trans, Females, Str8
    Couples, Lesbians, Etc. PLEASE Do Create A
    Button for those of us that prefer NOT to be
    Shown or Hit On by their profiles.
    ● Why it there limits on # of Tags we can choose ?
    ● GET RID of HIDE & BRING BACK the BLOCK
    With All These Issues & High Prices probably will just start using SNIFFIES ( THEY have most of the features I want as a GAY man looking to meet other men PLUS it has map showing ALL users around
