Change 'tribes' for a mandatory description of how people identify as. And make it possible to filter on this.
Tribes does not cover or correctly describes genders in all its variations. Also, it's not mandatory. I think gender, but also things as being crossdresser or transsexual should be listed. I applaud diversity, but for me the app is missing out on the option to include or exclude people from the feed that you are definitely (not) interested in.

No space for looking for chasers ans people who like chubs and bears. There's options for people to find me but no options for me to look for chasers and other men who are into big boys. I know they're out there it's just hard to sort through the noise and find each other.

Bring back “Cis Man” as a gender please
Please bring back “cis man” as a gender. As per Grindr current definition Cis-gender people are people whose internal knowledge of their gender is the same as the gender people thought they were when they were born. Yet Cis man, has now disappeared from the gender options. The majority of gay people on your app are attracted to cis men who still have a penis, not nb or “men” with vaginas. Therefore please do not erase cis men, that’s insane.

Add a filler
I know that some users don't want to see trans or females or femboys so and a filter you can turn off and on. Same with a filter for people looking for love or sex.

simpler operation, so it works. otherwise too much time - i.e. 1/3, is taken up figuring out a new small feature like messages filter
an a.i. portal that will compare your profile in a new way to the same new way for everyone who wants to fill out an extra profile, perhaps a ‘psychological’ profile or sexuality /personality dynamic interactive profile. whatever type of new profile that is added as an extra (with consent) could be got (maybe bought) wholesale from various published sources. Need a Grindr Marketplace. I think it's a best idea so that we could sell items, find roomates, ideas.
Can specifically make a wall to sell items used or new. Clothing, shoes, apparel, work, employment, some paid gigs, find roomates, gay job postings.

Same fake/bot profiles keep reappearing after blocked & we can’t see the profile of a viewer
I believe the app must be developing an algorithm. It’s just a way of getting things right these days. Grindr has been returning more and more profiles that are similar to the profile types that I BLOCK. Why can’t Grindr show me more profiles similar to the ones I interact with most?

Is Grindr Supposed to be a Prostitution / Scam App?
... because literally 95% of users I've interacted with request money up front within 10 messages.
Is this okay with ya folks, or is there just a complete lack of oversight on community profiles? Because meeting people for anything legit is practically impossible on the app right now.

I think adding more tags or even like scruff where you can search a specific kink is a good idea. For example choking.
