Enough is enough already. Make a new app for them and migrate them over. This is not a place "for everybody", this is a gay space and it's annoying with all the limitations you bestowed upon us, it's vital for our grid not to be polluted. Same goes for other filters. Add a filter "looking for age group"
I am a 48 year old looking for young 18+ guys. I want a filter that would show me young guys looking for my approx age. So in profile description if you add "looking for age group" 18-25, 26-30, 31-35 so on and so forth. It would be easier to find my type of guys rather than randomly asking all the young guys "interested in uncles?"

Improve Cross-City Browsing & Messaging to Increase Engagement
I’d like to suggest an improvement regarding cross-city browsing and messaging.
Currently, limiting users to messaging only one person per day in other cities makes it very difficult to build meaningful connections — especially for people who travel, are considering relocation, or are genuinely open to long-distance relationships.
Many users don’t only look for immediate local meetups. Some are searching for something serious, and restricting communication reduces the chances of forming real connections.
To improve engagement and competitiveness, I suggest:
• Allowing more flexible messaging in other cities (even with reasonable limits)

Gay men + girl bffs
I don’t have a Grindr account, but I would if there was a BFF section. I hear the girls are annoying the guys looking for a hookup bc there is no specified section for this. The world is better with gays in it and I love and adore my gay BFFs! Will & Grace, Carie and Stanford, Rachel & Kurt, RuPaul and Michelle! It would help Grindr expand their reach while protecting and segmenting those looking for romantic / physical connections vs those simply looking for awesome friendships. 💗

Make top bot vers orientation mandatory in profile
Without making orientation mandatory, free filtering with orientation is difficult, 70% users doesn't have a orientation type and purpose of filtering in useless.

Make a trans women app ONLY, NOT GRINDR
I see a lot of trans women, and straights, Grindr used to be an only gay app, now “straights” and women, take to much space on the grid, I miss the old days, when Grindr used to be only for gay men, bi men, and trans men, it used to be only men, maybe feminine guys but not women

Bring back the old Grindr
Now it's impossible to find your type. Three app is being taken over by non gay guys looking for chicks, when they should just be on their own app. You have to block people to clean up your grid. It's turning into too much work. Its not a crime to like what you like, and some of us are only attracted to members of their own culture and gender. There's no reason why you had to get rid of the ethnicity filter. It's not really for everyone if you can't find what you're looking for. Even then on the flip…

There's such a strong theme in this app.
They should create a well-defined filter for people who still believe it's possible to find a partner. The problem is that these filters may exist, but they're only available for a fee, and I don't think that's right. Because in the end we are all a community. I personally sometimes pay to find men who are genuinely more real in conversations and who aren't underage.They use fake photos of their uncles, parents, or other relatives because it's happened to me. And they only ask for money, what they call "a league" or "help." I really feel like this app has…

To keep anything deleted for maybe 2 days before it is permanently deleted
Please, any chance, maybe even - of having the option to keep anything deleted for two days (or not having that option) so we can reclaim just a tiny bit of our control over our Grkndr profile.
