Fix ban appeals
Stop lying to your users about using bans as a last resort and having human evaluations for appeals. Both of these claims that you’ve made are demonstrably false. Stop banning people who don’t violate the guidelines and crack down on the cesspools of fraud and abusive behavior that take place on your app constantly.

Distancia incorrecta
Al parecer la app está mostrando a los usuarios con mi o si estuvieran a distancia en línea recta, pero al conversar y verificar la ubicación real, los recorridos son mucho más largos.
Ejemplo, me mostró a una persona a 1 km, al conversar y me compartió su ubicación, Google maps lo mostraba a más de 6 km, tenía que ir un km y devolverme 5 km por otra vía diferente.Esto hace que se pierda tiempo tratando de hablar.con gente que está, aparentemente, cerca pero en realidad está fuera de la zona cercana.

O status hiv deveria ter uma opção de ocultar.
Em algumas cidades, o preconceito com pessoas que vivem com hiv é muito grande, ao ponto de divulgarem essa informação para pessoas fora do aplicativo.
Gostaria que dessem a opção de ocultar essa informação quando fosse necessário, pois uma vez que se coloca alguma informação no status de hiv, não é mais possível retirar.
Lembrando que por lei, temos o direito de divulgar ou não essa informação, e da forma que está, uma vez divulgado o usuário não pode mais retirar a informação.

Switching between Apple Maps and Google Maps
On iOS, when someone shares location, it uses native Apple Maps. The problem is when clicking on location, it’s not super accurate, it will only show you the surrounding and as you zoom in, it can only go so far. Meanwhile on an Android, Google maps works amazing as it may not give the exact address but it gives the exact coordinates, so when you zoom in you can see the exact street the person lives in, etc…So it would be nice to be able to have the option to switch between both.

A option for people that have profile pic, not be shown for people who don’t have
I’m constantly harassed by people who does not have any pic, and when I ask for a face pic, they simply don’t answer anymore. I wish I could go even further if there was an option that block people without face pic to see my profile

“Side” tag or “no sex” tag
Putting side or no sex tag will make it easier for users to find others with the same preferences. Being side isn’t really a sex position it’s a way in which is practiced. It’s a combination of various sexual acts that aren’t anal sex . It should be listed in the tags along bb,uc,ws,gh, etc

Language
My native language is Japanese. The language of grindr is set according to the setting of the phone, but can you change it into that you can change the language on the app?
I wanna use my phone in Japanese but change only my grinder setting into English. Cuz all the translation of English words to Japanese on Grindr is a bit off (ex. pronouns, positions and stuff).12 votes -
A sex filter
I joined Grindr many years ago because I like men. The last few years more and more women are joining this app and moderators are not doing anything about it. I don’t want to see woman, I’m not sexually attracted to women, I don’t want to see cross-dressers, I’m not sexually attracted to CDs. I’m all for people liking who they want to like, but I should be able to filter out who I want to see and who I do not want to see, especially if I’m paying for Grindr Xtra. Unblock location based view
Right now if i want to unblock someone i may have blocked accidentally, i need to scroll through a list that goes in the order i blocked, I'd never find someone as it doesnt show dates and since location based is how the rest of grindr works it makes sense to change to a location based grid so that you could see the people closest and unblock that way.

Not being able to report a profile if I can’t communicate with it
Once I’ve scrolled past the viewable limit. If I see a profile with a title like “drugs and fuck” I can’t report it because clicking on it takes me to the premium update page.
There should be the ability to click and hold to report button and auto capture the profile pic and title with an additional info box.12 votes -
Add directions with Maps
When someone sends you their location, there needs to be a button that redirects you to google or Apple Maps so you can get the necessary directions. It’s so annoying having to zoom in and look for the address manually going back and forth between the app and maps.

HIV Status
I personally think to limit the amount of guys that are getting put at risk by other guys who lie about their status, Grindr should make HIV statuses marked as verified in the same manner that the app’s algorithms check profile pictures to make sure they’re not inappropriate. If they’re negative or on prep the verification mark for their status could require reevaluations every 3-6 months so it accurate enough for users to make safer and smarter decisions with who they’re hooking up with.
