3. Ethnicity filter back

   Here are some arguments for reinstalling the ethnicity filter:

   1. Freedom of Choice and Preference: Each individual has personal preferences when it comes to selecting a partner, and ethnicity can be one of those preferences, just as age, location, or interests might be. Reinstating the filter would respect users' freedom to express these preferences without needing to block or filter people out afterward.

   2. Voluntary Disclosure: Users have the option to disclose their ethnicity on their profile. If a user chooses to disclose their ethnicity, they are willingly sharing it as part of their identity. Others should have the right to filter based on the information that is voluntarily provided. If users feel uncomfortable, they are free not to disclose their ethnicity.

   3. Avoiding Unintentional Harm: When the filter is removed, users who prefer specific ethnicities might resort to behaviors that can cause harm, such as blocking or excluding others after interactions. This can lead to rejection or awkwardness that could have been avoided with the filter in place. Providing a filter allows for more transparency and avoids negative social interactions later in the process.

   4. Cultural Compatibility: For many people, ethnicity is closely linked with cultural, religious, and familial values. Allowing users to filter based on ethnicity supports cultural compatibility, which can be a key factor in building lasting relationships. It’s not always about racial bias but shared backgrounds and traditions.

   5. Promoting Inclusivity and Diversity: While the removal of the filter may have been intended to avoid exclusion, it might ironically decrease the likelihood of diverse relationships forming. When users can filter according to their preferences, including ethnicity, they are likely to engage more genuinely with people they are interested in. 5. Put a gender filter and sexuality filter

   Tired of my grid being mostly women, straight men, transwomen and transmen. I'm not into them and I'm looking for cismen come on make it easier for people to find what they're actual into by adding filters for gender and sexuality.

6. Tags for ABDL and Diapers. There should be more ways to filter

   Existing tags don't cover ABDL community. WS and underwear is not the same thing. And ABDL is kind of diverse. Should also be a way to distinguish the adult babies from the diaper lovers. ABDL is definitely not for everyone. So would be extremely useful to be able to identify exactly instead of having to approximate with other tags. Especially when people don't fill out their profiles

7. Photo Verification

   Having had my photos used on fake profiles as well as having been tricked using faked photos more times than I would like to admit I feel a photo verification process similar to Tinder’s is very necessary to the safety of users.

   is it me or chat backup doesn't work properly, on multiple ocasión i set my chat backup and seem every time I do so it fails to save for auto back up daily. would be nice IF THEY SOLVE THIS AND enable auto backup frequently not just daily, weekly tec.

10. Hey I know your Grindr sound notification is notorious but a different less grungy or cringe sound would be great.

    A new sound that sounds embracing or if even less specific from the current notification sound. I shouldn’t have to silence my phone bc of the anxiety of someone hearing that sound and knowing what it is.

12. Unlimited is not unlimited

    I mean the idea of unlimited is messaging as you wish. But twice i got banned because i messaged quite a few hoping to find that extra friend. i mean if unlimited has numbers then tell us why ban unilaterally ? And i cannot even message those who who replied to me. Ban following unlimited subscription is puzzling abd goes against the very word unlimited

14. Distinguishing between one country grindr user and another country user

    Mostly users from my neighbors country are shown more in (near you) suggestions. It’s get harder to use grindr because I don’t if I’m chatting with my own country individual or another country individual. Kindly solve it by putting country name or flag an option

16. Evaluate account before falsely banning

    I think it's ridiculously that just cause I don't respond to someone or tell someone no they can report my account and get me falsely banned, it's bullshit that Grindr doesn't evaluate the account first and then ban if necessary.

17. Fake profiles using the app as a network

    There are hundreds of fake profiles using images and nude images without consent, they are all over the Polk county, Florida area . I think there are using an outdated version of grindr and they can be found easily because they have no green icon that says "online" and there are dozens of duplicate photos under multiple profiles I think they are using a tablet with no number verification or a tty line I have pics of the blocked profiles I have blocked over 800 so far I sent screen shots of the profiles they are also using this app to break into cell phones by hacking the 3rd party access on google, facebook and apple.

18. Get rid of the "say something" window

    Please PLEASE get rid of the "say something" window. It's pushy, really annoying and utterly pointless.

    Removing the keyboard and "say something" bubble every single time I view a profile is beyond tedious. Did anyone actually check/yest this before rolling it out?

20. Never an incentive or sale for different memberships

    You would most likely get more members if more frequent sales w lower membership prices were advertised. Ie: the top membership is never discounted
