You’ve broken it and showing me other peoples chats
Whatever the hell you’ve done in releases this week has broken the app. It’s literally showing me no chats - they’ve all gone and occasionally randomly
Shows what looks like another users chats and pictures. Which then makes me think are others getting my chats which is a massive security issue.2 votes -

How about investing into some server bandwidth, so an app that users pay for actually works, when ton of ppl log on? How bout that? Crazy right? Seriously. Wtf.

reinvent grindr too many taps that are fake or too far away
Reinvent Grindr so ever use has a full profile and get rid of the taps they are annoying and fake

Ban people who ghosting
Lots of people are ghosting or just simply not replying. It happens in different state of messaging. Sometimes from the beginning they do not reply, sometimes just after I sent the pictures he wanted... 80% of the people I cannot chat (and neither meet...)
There should be an option on which the user clicks, an automatic, polite message would be sent to the other that "you are not what I'm looking for" or something like that and the other user then should not be able to send any message to that user, but still see his profile. If the user…2 votes -

Please store more than one year of chat history
As I'm sure you know there have been multiple problems with restoring chat history in your new app. I will be patient on this.
What I want to address here is that you are restoring chat history going back only one year. This is totally inadequate. As someone who frequently travels, any chats that I had with people in different cities more than a year ago are now gone. I imagine you're dealing with your own storage capacities but I think you should restore at least 2 years of chat history2 votes -
Open more results on free version
With the latest update I see maybe 3-6 people I can view. The matches are generally so poor that I’m not encouraged to pay to see more people. Seeing better matches is what would encourage me to move to the paid version to see more. This narrowing makes it way LESS likely- and more likely I’ll leave the app for something else altogether.

Sending photos only allowed if you receive a response
With new law changes in the UK, sending unsolicited photos is now a crime. So, I urge Grindr to fix their community guidelines and take appropriate action towards people who literally commit a crime!! Also, make it so people cannot send you a photo if you haven't interacted with their messages.

Filters reduce the number of profiles you can interact with
The "Tribe" "Age" and "Looking for" filters have always been allowed for all users to use and it would not reduce the number of profiles you could interact with. All three could be active and you'd be able to chat with the first, at least 40 or 50. Now when all 3 are active you can interact with the first three profiles and that's it.
It's making the app essentially useless ESPECIALLY because we weren't informed beforehand that this change would occur

Improve performance and reduce cost
Messages sending but don't deliver for hours sometimes. The price of a subscription is unreasonable for an app that performs very poorly. Very popular app with the worst performance of any app on my phone and I have a lot of apps. Get a new developer team, the app has been unstable year in year out for literally years. Slow messages can literally ruin a connection with a guy, get it together Grindr it's just not good enough

Grinder to respond to every suggestion
You all realize you are just here to bark out your complaints and literally no one will ever hear from the folks looking at these at Grinder. The more you move away from the app it gives better ones out there a chance. They limit free experience to a row of folks to check out, increased price for nothing unique, allowed str8 to overwhelm the opportunity to take space from a gay man, spam accounts are multiplying like fire at any location, and gave up on making it a gay mans app long time ago. Can't create account or login without Google Play Services installed
I don't have google play services installed by choice for privacy reasons, but the Grindr app doesn't let me set up an account or login. Google services should be a soft dependency, used when they're available, but not critical.
There's nothing Grindr does that requires google services, account sign up should be via Grindrs servers, location can be via android location permissions, and notifications can be via email or unified push
