The ability to search messages
Just like in any other text messaging application or something like that, you should be given the ability to search keywords for specific messages. I remember once upon a time that was a thing, but I have no idea why you guys took it out.

More visibility of free profiles 100
It's unfair that I only see 45 profiles for free, and I have to pay extra for more, and I only see people from neighboring countries whose language I don't understand, while others who live in the center of the country don't have to because they don't have these problems, by doing so you are violating my rights to the same experience and you should be sued!

App does not recognize San Antonio
When in my profile, I have an option to select my City, which happens to be San Antonio. I selected use a button to confirm and it takes me and fits me in Austin. I think that needs to be addressed because I’m not in Austin. I want to San Antonio. I don’t wanna drive 74 miles and 5 miles to meet somebody.

All about money
I’m convinced this app is strictly about draining the LGBT community of their money. I can’t find more than 5 attractive people where I live through all the pick collectors, scammers etc. and if I want to see more people I have to pay $40. It’s extremely disgusting. I had a similar problem a few months ago so they sent me a code for a month of unlimited only for the the code to not work twice to add insult to injury. I wish there was an alternative for our community to meet each other. If this problem doesn’t change…

Profile preview tab update is useless
Profile preview tab update is useless now, it provides no information and doesn’t even enlarge the profile picture in the preview. Previously the preview gave general info like stats and last online, now it shows nothing but the same size profile pic thumbnail. Having the ability to preview generally allows you something to actually preview. Your app “updates” are dreadful.

I see a lot of trans women, and straights, Grindr used to be an only gay app, now “straights” and women, take to much space on the grid, I miss the old days, when Grindr used to be only for gay men, bi men, and trans men, it used to be only men, maybe feminine guys but not women

Ethnicity
I am European, majored in Sociology, and feel strongly that “white” is a race… not an ethnicity. European should be added as an option. Bumble added European and “Jewish” as options. Both should be added to Grindr as well. Thank you.

Let us turn off taps
Taps are almost exclusively spam, scammers and whores. I block them constantly and they keep returning. Let us turn them off.

Less adds & more words allowed in "what are you looking for ?" Part of profiles
So the pop up adds are getting insane on Grindr free l often have to logg off and logg back in 5-6 times in a 20 min use span.l have honestly not used it in a month allmost and have started to use the app less over the last 5 months. I understand Grindr is doing this with on purpose to get people to purchase a paid Subscription but ......it's just driving many away l know many guys who say they are searching for other apps because the adds are ruining it all and they have no intention to buy…

Grinder should not do a photo id or drives licenses check because of scammers and identity theft
Grinder should not do a id check scams and everything can go down it can get all bad identity theft waiting to happen it be all bad Grinder don't do it you won't be getting my photo id or drivers license number nothing its private information because identity theft it really scares me. I won't be putting my Driver's license or photo. ID on the internet, no way grinder is taking about doing this it can be really bad we need to stop them

Longer bio
I have been using Grindr for about 15 years now and have repeatedly requested that the “about me” or “bio” section needs to be much MUCH longer. Again, other apps like scruff have soooo many sections with a shit load of info you can input. I know full well that literally thousands of members have requested this multiple times. Also, STOP increasing the monthly subscription without updating the app and adding new features and especially without updating or advising the customer. Stop ads from interrupting and deleting messages being typed
Stop ads from interrupting and deleting the message while a message is being typed - incredibly frustrating to have a couple sentences wiped just to get an ad, doubly annoying. At least wait until that message is sent, if you have to!

Have a "match" function
It would be nice to have a "match" function where you could press a button when you like someone and if they press the same button for you you'd get a notification and they'd be put in a specific category. A bit like the "Would you meet" function on Scruff.
