Taps
Now you're charging even to watch taps. Suddenly, the entire app is going to become a paid app. What good is all that money if you never manage to completely fix Grindr? First, it's a hub for abuse; you indirectly promote hate, violence, and abuse. What do you want the money for? To continue funding your addictive and destructive business? I'll definitely stop using Grindr, not because I want it to change, but because it seems like you're funding hate.

Obrigatoriedade a ter Foto.
Ser parte do cadastro para poder usar o APP, fazer o upload, pelo menos de uma foto de rosto. Agora, e está crescendo demais, a quantidade de gente sem FOTO, nem BIO, que chegam pedindo isso do outro para avaliarem e só então assumir sua posição no mundo. Depois eles, que estão escondidos no anonimato, se mostram e quem que a cara é quem se mostrou desde o começo. Isso é injusto demais. Vocês controlam tanto as coisa mínimas e isso...não.

The word “tr*nny” should not be allowed, seeing cis men using violent language/slurs to sexualize trans people is concerning
I feel as though allowing this slur is more harmful than empowering in this context. Grindr allows everyone of all gender identities to use such words that have been and still are used to dehumanize members of this vulnerable community. Sexualizing trans peoples’ existence as a whole is harmful in many ways and does lead to real life violence. I think this word is completely fine when used by a consenting trans person, but I do not want to see it, and I know most other trans people I’ve spoken to certainly do not either. Can’t report if blocked while writing report
If you are trying to report someone threatening you and you can’t do it fast enough they can block you without you ever being able to report them. It should be made that the second file the report button you are locked into the report. This is scary that you have to be rushed to report someone harassing you. I was typing what happened after pressing report, then selecting harassment. Then I got blocked.

Why cant delete or read taps and why have the pick for you section but cant read their post very stupid
Worst fucking app ever the only thing that works is the pop up adds to much bullshit you never leave shit lone the more you think your improving this the worse it gets cant read or delete taps the people you think are a match can't read their shit either this app is a complete waste of time

The ads are too much, its one thing to have ads for having an app but having it open an ad when you are messaging someone everytime is overboard

Bring back the groups feature!
At one point Grindr allowed groups where we could select a number of users from our chats and invite them to a group chat. Why was this removed?

the constant barrage of ads has made the app completely unusable
the user experience with so many ads is very frustrating and difficult. instead of being on the app, i prefer to get the social media of people i’m interested in and get off the app as soon as possible. the ads also open up tabs in the browser which is even more frustrating.

Stop selling bot access for advertising
It’s quite obvious that you are selling access to advertisers to use chat bots to spam us. What’s the point of the report spam function when you ignore it?

Taps should be free to see for everyone
Charging us just to see taps is rather extreme. As much as I understand that this app is a business there should also be a level of consideration for its users. Not everyone can afford unlimited. Some basic features such as taps etc should be freely accessible

Deixar grade de taps de graça de novo
Devolvam a grade de taps.
Agora tem que assinar para ver todos os usuários que mandaram um tap, ficando disponível apenas o último recebido.
Tirar essa função gratuita vai diminuir a quantidade de usuário ao invés de aumentar a quantidade de assinantes, tendo em vista o valor alto da assinatura.4 votes -

Il faut rétablir immédiatement l'onglet favoris ! C'était l'onglet principal et le plus important de votre application ! Il n'y a plus de raison de payer un abonnement mensuel sans les avantages de cette onglet que vous avez bêtement supprimé. Il faut le rétablir au plus vite...

Get rid of popup adds.
This is so fucking annoying when I open the app there’s an instant add. I want to text somebody- an add. Get rid of these popup adds, the ones between profiles should be enough. Even though membership is too expensive.

Blocking
It’d be nice if you added the blocking feature back to the paying premium members. Like a lot of gay neighborhoods, not much changes within a half mile of my house and it gets frustrating having to sort through the same people time after time. Let me know if you have suggestions for me, as this is my suggestion for you :-). Otherwise, thank you for your app, just beef up the benefits for its relatively high price. Thx

Remove social media links to reduce spam
The amount of people still able to spoof their location and promote their X and Instagram and onlyfans is getting out of control. Grindr should remove social links to disincentivize this self-promotion. Social media can be shared privately once a connection is formed.
