Stop running Medicine Campaigns FOR PROFIT
Heres an idea QUIT IT with All the HIV/AIDS advertisements in my inbox. YOURE infecting my brain with the idea that its COOL AND EVERYONE HAS IT, SO GO OUT AND GET IT. Then I can be cool too and hang out with others who have it and get better together! Seriously it's about in the same level as Philip Morrison funding THE TRUTH campaign. As long as his product was on the screen it's an advertisement regardless. We should not be advertising medicine people will seek that out if they have the problem. This makes me sick.

Allow users to select multiple racial selections
Some of us identify as more than one identity. I’m Black, and I identify as Black. But I’m also mixed (with white). So, I’d like to be able to choose “Black” and “mixed” instead of being forced to choose. It’s even worse, I imagine, for folks with two non-white identities. For ex., are folks who’re a mix of Black & Asian supposed to just choose one, or “mixed”? They should be able to select both.

Unable to change my profile picture. When trying to save the photos selected to my profile I get an error message saying "Something went wrong."

Indigenous Australian option in the list of backgrounds.
Often one of the first of many questions is what is my background. I would like to display indigenous Australian to remind all of the other people whose land it is they’re walking on before they get all high and mighty and block as soon as I tell them. Other just does not quite cover my background nor would I choose to select it ever.

The disappearing and reappearing top bar
I find it very jarring when the filters, views and account icons disappear and reappear. It looks like I’m getting a notification - I hate it! Constant false alarms. Please consider just leaving the top bar static.

Connect peoples emails with their cell number at sign up
The amount of accounts that keep spamming me lewd pictures every day is incomprehensible and repulsive. Many accounts go on creating new accounts after i blocked them and reported them, ending up sending me the same nudes
Connect people's email addresses with their cell numbers like Taimi so frequent violators can be removed from the community permanently. Make Grindr safer!5 votes -
Backup photos
If you have to delete the ap and reinstall or switch devices. You lose you photos. A while back they stayed with your account. Would be great at least to be able to back up to cloud like chat.

Unfair Account Ban and Inadequate Appeal Review
My account was permanently banned for allegedly offering or requesting paid sexual services, despite never engaging in such behaviour. The ban notice indicated that automated measures were used, and after waiting nearly two months for an appeal review, I received only a generic response stating that the decision was final, without any explanation, evidence, or indication that a meaningful human review had taken place. As a long-term user who has always used Grindr for its intended purpose, I find this process unfair and lacking transparency. I’m paying a lot of money for this app. I’m paying for ad free. I don’t want to see ads for Madonna or erectile dysfunction or weight loss meds. And I think it’s really shifty that they put the clickable link to these ads right next to other buttons so you accidentally clicked them all the time.

Remove opening message
I just opened the app I’m still in the closet and not ready to come out. And the freaking new message almost forced me to come out in front of my family! This is really unsettling. Can we please get this message and sound removed please?
