Fake profiles reported= incentives
Since you don’t screen profiles when they are made, and it seems people on the grid do more security then you do. Once people have successfully reported fake profiles or bots maybe they can get a prize, like a free week of grindr x or something like that. Since it is almost a daily occurrence for getting fake profiles in your dms

Bring back distance based home page
The homepage was based on location and the closer someone is, it’s closer to the top of the page, now there’s no option to chose to change it to shuffle or bring it back and profiles are just appearing shuffle by default, then distance doesn’t make any sense to have if you don’t know who is closer and that’s the base of the interaction… what’s the point then?

Remove the grid showing people not based on proximity
It’s ridiculous to have people at the top of my grid when they are far away. It’s supposed to be based on proximity. Makes me wannaswitch to sniffies

Remove Roam. Bring back Boost and Super Boost by location.
What is the point of Roam really !?
First: You’ve made it expensive. Already pissed off . Second: I would’ve been okay with it being expensive, but why would I pay more to just show my profile normally without a boost in that region.
Suggestion:
Just Bring back Boost and Super Boost in any location worldwide.
It was literally perfect and I actually enjoyed using it. Made multiple purchases in a week as I was travelling a lot this year.Not once have I paid for Roam and will never pay for it. As there’s no point to it.

Spam and bots! I’m canceling my $300 per year subscription due to constant barrage of spam text, fishing messages, fake profiles. I’m also tired of grindr’s own erectile dysfunction ads. I pay for NO ADS. And. GIVE US OUR RACE FILTERS BACK…. I’m paying for a service and I should be able to filter what I’m attracted to. This app has really gone down hill. It’s not worth $300 a year anymore.

lack of access without a subscription
If you don’t have a subscription it has gone down to only having access to 10 profiles. After that you have to pay. This is beyond ridiculous I don’t know what you’re trying to accomplish but you are pushing people away. We will find another app that is not as bad as you have become

Bring the features back from unlimited to xtra
This is crap that the features xtra use to have is in unlimited now ??? Everyone votr for this post and send a message to grinder
That extra should have unlimited exploration options again should have up to five right nows should include all options that unlimited has and get rid of unlimited, And if this doesn’t change, I will not be buying Grindr extra again And I say that to everyone too, don’t invest in this, it’s not what it used to be !4 votes -
Unlock More Users
Give users a number of free Unlocks each week, and then the option to buy more.
I don't want to buy unlimited access for a short period of time. But I would be happy to pay for a number of additional profile unlocks rather than just the free 1 that you give new users.

Bring back the block option!! For safety reasons please think about those who target users and harm them.
Bring back the blocking option as it is the only feature that 100% enabled safety for users. I don't know which idiot amongst the development team decided it's a good idea to remove a safety feature like wtf guys how are users supposed to protect themselves now?

A new filter toggle for travellers
Lately I'm spotting a lot of people in my city you are just passing through as travelers. I can tell this because they have the little airplane travel icon.
Would it be possible to add this as a toggle in the filters? My preference is to chat with local users rather than people who are just visiting.

Easier to report bots
Please make it easier to report bots, rather than multiple click-through pages to hide a bot from my grid. And better yet, actually investigate reported bots and take down profiles that use the same profile picture.

If you guys don’t do something about the volume of bot accounts and scammers on this app, I’m going to cancel my subscription. I block ten or more a day, usually.
This is totally unfair to us and it only seems to be getting worse over time, so get it together or I can’t justify continuing to use this app.

Bot Elimination.
My Idea is to use multiple measures to make creating bots on this platform hard and expensive. I would hate to see that this company is allowing bot users to create bots to inflate user numbers. We should be aware of this kind of stuff as a community. Here are some things you guys could start working on for the better of the user community. can prevent bots from creating fake accounts by layering multiple defenses that make registration easy for real users but expensive or difficult for automated scripts. I pay for a subscription for no ads and I still get ads all the time. Stop it.
Work on the app. People sending me messages 18 times over and over again. They’re not doing it. It’s you and your app.
