A few basic necessities for regular users.
- Upgrade/eXtra prices
?Wtf wrong with you guys? Those gargantuan prices for what? For App which permanently doesn't refreshing or shows nonsense distance/position? Or for a "interested" adds (every f©k1n ten minutes)? Maybe its for some many others bugs and function lacks in there...
Repair the goddamn refreshing and distance/position showing.
I/We would appreciate a "not interested" or "dislike" button.
Fix these things that most users consider "basic & standard" and maybe I'll (and some others too) start subscribing the premium version...
...but probably not at those prices.

Herpes status in profile
Herpes is estimated to be carried by around 20% of adults. Surely that percentage is even higher amongst Grindr users. As with HIV, once a person contracts herpes, its presence is permanent. Grindr should include a place for herpes status in profiles as it does with HIV to increase safety and awareness amongst users.

Please let us block people on our viewed list
If someone sketchy keeps viewing my profile I should be able to block them. Hell, I should be able to block them even if they’re not sketchy. Let people control their grids.

Filter Out NSFW Profile Pics
I mostly used Grindr to make new friends, and occasionally to go on dates. I don’t really use it for hook-ups, and I wish there was a way for me to scroll through the app without having to see so many NSFW profile photos (i.e. ass photos, crotch shots, underwear pics etc.). It makes it really hard to open the app at all in a public setting. One solution would be to make the ‘Face Photo Only’ filter free to all, or perhaps a new free filter could be developed that would detect and hide pictures with nudity.

Chat lost when you are blocked, seriously?
It has absolutely no sense to hide chat history when someone is blocking me. How can I prove if I get harassed? How can I report the guy? How can I block him?
Luckily this didn't happen with me, but I regularly run into fake profiles and before I can do anything they block me.16 votes -
Ability to block phone contacts
There should be an option to block all contacts on your phone inside the app so things like family, coworkers or close friends wouldn’t be able to see you on the app

Bring back the ethnicity filter. I will not subscribe until it's back
This is not about racism it's about a preferences. When I used to subscribe I could filter for Asian guys. This was used to find my preference not to filter out because of racist reasons. In the world of woke and PC, Grindr you have gone too far. Please grow a pair and put this popular filter back. Until then, there is no point me subscribing and I'm sure thousands of others feel the same.

Expensive!!!!!
And now you have to pay extra for the “fresh section” when you used to get a whole page for free. 6 profiles is not even allowing options. Grinder should also have an option to have your account on incognito mode for FREE to reduce harassment… some people want to get online without having to be texted by men who pry.

Discount on boost
We should atleast be able to receive discounts after so many boost purchases. I’ve made several boost purchases. It should be something that’s constant to make people want to use boost more. I use it and really don’t receive many discounts as I purchase at full price.

Unending pictures
I do not feel comfortable not being able to unsend my photos to some unless i pay to upgrade my profile.. Those photos are mine and not grindrs to have control over!! People shouldn't have to be made to feel uncomfortable just so you can pocket more money!!

Grindr should be for men
Grindr used to be exactly what we, GAY MEN, wanted. A space for us to meet me for dates, friendships and sex. Now you barely find gay men on here. All you ever find are cis and trans women or men looking for them. You also have alot of trans women being extremely nasty towards cis men. Grindr needs to be a place for cis gay men. And that's ot. Bi men too if they are looking for men

Offline
Considering you can only see a few profiles before you are asked to pay for more, people who are offline should not appear. Once they log on they show up. That would save alot of wasted time.
