2. Greedy Grindr

   Grindr keeps implementing unwanted functionality and limiting normal functionality, while stuffing the app with ads. You can really see the company is owned by investment agencies who want nothing else but to see as much return on investment, as soon as possible.

   The amount of people one can see is becoming less and less and the filters that can be used keep getting limited. Meanwhile, Grindr is implementing features that literally nobody asked for, such as albums, stupid GIFs and dumb gaymoji I’ve never seen anyone use if not accidentally.

   The prices you are asking for your premium subscriptions, Xtra and Unlimited, are completely excessive (€20 or €40 a month, literally where do you get the nerve). It makes it a product for only the rich, while making it inaccessible for the less wealthy LGBTs among us. Meanwhile, your largest competitor in Europe, ROMEO, is able to make profits with a premium subscription of only €7,50 a month, while offering its free users more features, ad-free, than you do to your Unlimited subscribers, and still donate parts of their profits to a non-profit LGBT-rights supporting foundation.

   Here’s an idea: give free users access to basic filters such as length and relationship status and give them the possibility to see reasonable amounts of people rather than limiting their view distance more and more. Other features, such as albums, gaymoji, GIFs and reading receipts you can make Xtra or Unlimited only.

   Change your policies now, because as long as Grindr keeps being a greedy company that only exists to milk the LGBT community off their money, I will never, I repeat NEVER pay for Grindr, and I will make sure it won’t make profits out of me by using a firewall ad blocker on my phone such as AdGuard, 1Blocker or Lockdown Firewall. Thanks for understanding.

5. Migrate account from Facebook to Google

   I created an account with Facebook login. I want to delete my Facebook, but I don't want to create a new Grindr account and lose all of my contacts and chats. Please allow me to migrate my existing account from Facebook login to Google login.

6. Lower subscription

   Good day, so in South Africa the Rand is very weak and as such the R300 for Xtra is really a lot of money for most people. Don't get me wrong I understand it takes a lot of money to run this platform.

   Might I suggest an entry-level subscription of R100 a month, I am sure many people will opt for that option, you can perhaps just have less features than Xtra but perhaps remove ads, a couple more profiles and some advanced filters.

7. Fix "fresh" from 9 to 30

   Ver 18.6 only has 9 fresh then Xtra this is way too small. I am doing lots of blocking.

8. Restore fresh faces

   Please remove the limit on fresh faces. It was a really good way to meet with people that were far from you. Putting a limit on this on top of all the other restrictions; when it was free at first, is kinda shitty.

   There was an update where fresh faces was an unlimited grid. That really helped get connections that were interesting and although distant it was fun.
   Fresh faces also really help users who don’t have many profiles near them or users who dont find their “type” near them.

   Now the fresh faces grid is limited to just 6 profiles and it’s kind of restrictive being limited to the same few profiles around you.

9. Cover Photo - I’d like to know WHY a picture of myself in swimming trunks was rejected (see attached) yet A fully nude ass pic was accepted?

   Stop rejecting people because they want to post photos in swimming shorts that arent even nudes (see snapshot #2) in their cover photo, then turn-around and allow nude cover photos by others (see example snapshot #1). Its hypocritical & unfair!

11. This Men4Men app lie!

    Notice this?..now you can’t completely block the women, ts, crossdress, etc. if you try and clear your cascade page of these type of profiles to make room for the men you were promised, they reappear! You can watch the page reload and moves tiles around. Scroll back and they are right back where they where. Seems there is a limit to how many you block in a row or how fast you do it.
    It’s bad enough there are no filters to help. People lie in their profiles or don’t fill them out so a filter wouldn’t work anyway. Grindr doesn’t screen profiles or have any mandatory rules about profiles being filled in.
    But this isn’t just Grindr. Adam4adam suffers from this same issue.
    Corporate greed. Get members regardless, bloat the website for advertising revenue. Nag members to go premium. Money…plain and simple.
    We wait again, another false promise shows it’s colors. Wait for a new platform to come around.
    No offense to the feminine/female folks. You well deserve your rights as I do. Your just not for me, no attraction. You deserve a platform that unfortunately doesn’t exist yet. As you join mine, I lose it more each day. We both are at a loss as we are forced to mix together on a platform that can’t meet our needs as promised. Even worse if we are paying for it.
    Time to dump Grindr. They dumped us. Loss of profits gains attention as well.

    Allow users to set an age range or body type of people that can contact them. I’m tired of getting unsolicited dick picks of 50 year old large hairy bears when I’m only interested in young twink types around my age.

    Ability to filter users based on their gender identity; Man/Woman, Trans Man/Trans Woman, Non-binary/Other.

    This would allow gay and straight people to only see users of their preferred gender. It would also make it easier for trans people only looking for other trans people, since the 'Trans' Tribe is full of cis men looking for trans women.
