Blocking recently created profiles
I keep having issues with the same creeps messaging me from a blank recently created profile and having to waste time working out that it's them each time. Blocking or reporting them does nothing as they just create new emails/profiles and try again in a few hours.
Is it possible to only allow profiles that have been active for X days/weeks to see me or contact me? This will make blocking actually make them think twice and allow me to only have to chat to people that are serious.15 votes -
Pop up ads
Stop letting ads come up every few minutes now. And you have to buy Grindr plus if you want it to go away. Bring the old version back when ads wasn't allowed.

Bareback
Please change the BB tag to fully spell out the word bareback. It seems that some people don't understand what BB means. And to their credit, it could also mean big butt. Whether it's approved or not, some of us have sex without condoms. And we should not be contacted by those insisting on condoms. Maybe if it's clearer, there will be less of that happening.

An increase of scammers
I have recently noticed an increase in scam accounts messaging me. Most of them are for websites advertising adult content that you must sign up for by first giving the platform your credit/debit card information, others are trying to be a little more sophisticated by trying to get users to sing up for external "social media" platforms, such as a website known as "dreamguydatesandfun", found here: dreamguydatesandfun.com (Please do not sign up with real information as you will be scammed). Give trans people their own tab.
Sure they are part of our community but I can't even find gay cis men anymore because of the pages of trans people on my grid. I shouldn't lose more than half of my grid space to a gender I'm not attracted to. I'm sure they feel the same way about us. Please seperate them into a different tab so they can have their space and we have ours.

Fake profiles
Grindr needs a complete re-think.
It needs to start by avoiding fake profiles which is a plague. It will stop people being nasty and use the anonymity to do all sorts. If you can misbehave and restart whenever you want it is not really right!
Return to being a sex app and this where I am going.
You be able to have some sort of rating in your profile ( like airb&b for example)
Starting with honesty about the pictures
Following by the if you are seriously meeting people or just wasting time

Search by more than one keyword at a time
Pretty straightforward: search by "hairy" and "gamer" to filter results to only profiles with both of those tags

Necesito suspendan un cuenta y su usuario ya que se hace pasar por mi pata perjudicarme y cometer hechos maliciosos suplantando mi identidad . Ya denuncie en la app su perfil y la persona aún contirnua usando mis fotos con su perfil activo. Por favor más severos con la certificación de los perfiles y datos de los usuarios

Hola amigos un saludo.. para comentar que esta última actualización lejos de ayudarnos nos está haciendo migrar a otras apps ya que nos están limitando mucho. Teníamos perfiles para ver ahora son muy pocos y ver quien nos mira ya no es opción para entrar. No tanto limite no tanto bloqueo la comunidad es grande y queremos como cuando empezamos ACCESIBILIDAD

Make viewed me free again
This is ridiculous now. Now you can only view profiles who have viewed you if you have an unlimited subscription.
This is now starting to feel like grindr is pushing lower or poorer users of off the site by trying to force us to pay now to interact with users who have viewed our profile. This is a joke I get viewed from users who are like 8+ miles away sometimes and I can't even view their profile now.

Why r ppl w/BLANK profiles….
You guys want to make money money money at all cost. So before if someone viewed you, you’ll be able to click on their profile but now you can’t. I noticed so many blank profiles looking and when i want to click on them to block I can’t. It says buy XTRA. That’s ridiculous, it’s like your protecting them and their blank ass identities but have no problem allowing mine to be out there for. Why? Cause they paid your fee that’s asinine. There’s so much wrong with this app now. From removing race, to making it all about trannies…
