Remove the xtra restrictions from the Fresh section
In the updates after 8.13, the Fresh section has only 6 profiles accessible in the free version. It is another restricting feature that makes the app undesirable as options are severely limited due to the existing restrictions as it is.

Face Verified Photos w/ an option to still hide the face
Requiring people to set a profile picture with their face on it just to get verified can be too much for a lot of private guys.
To still provide them the privacy while allowing them to show that their profile pictures are theirs to some extent, Grindr could enable face verification by:
- Have users upload a photo with face
- Verify if the photo has their face through proper selfie verification
- Allow users to only display the cropped version of the verified photo for privacy
- Display a verification mark for each verified photos (regardless whether the user opted to crop the…

Top 3 views for profile access in xtra
As a paid xtra subscriber in views you should be able to totally interact with the 3 top profiles that you can see. And we should get a few more profiles on this views page. Currently you can’t even tap and open the top 3 profile like you used to just a few days ago. Makes views totally useless now.

Expiring photo spam
Simply fix this problem! Require that a conversation must take place... At a minimum, two to three lines... Something like: "Hey!" "What's up?" "I'd like to send you this expiring photo spam" Before an expiring photo can be sent. Better yet, consent is sexy... Gain permission to send an expiring photo message first!

What happened to viewing who tapped me? They’re all blurry and it says i gotta go on an get unlimited. What the actual fuck? I already pay for xtra and this was working yesterday. Thats how 80% of my chats start and now i don’t even get that. Do you know what it like being a brown man in this queer world? Seeing who tapped you is now only for unlimited?
How infuriating. How can you make a feature that was always available to the community now something that has to be paid for? Taps have always been an easy way for people to let you k ow who’s interested in talking without having a whole bunch of conversations popping up and filling up your list, taking away from conversations you’ve already started.

Restrictions on sharing someone personal/private information
There needs to be a lot better monitoring on users sending anyone else's photos/screenshots/videos/messages or other personal information. You should not be allowed to screenshot messages or pictures and not be able to send videos of more the account holder unless there has been an online consent form signed by everyone that will be present. When signing the consent for there needs to be identity verification by a government picture ID. A função "bloquear usuário" não funciona com eficiência pois em poucos minutos o perfil bloqueado torna-se desbloqueado. Isso ocorre com todos os perfis bloqueados. Precisa arrumar essa falha.

Why have the taps now suddenly been made a paid feature? It seems like more and more things on the app are slowly being phased out for users who’d prefer not to pay for Xtra or Unlimited, and only making them exclusive to those who pay to use the app. It’s ridiculous

Make it not so hard to find how to edit profile
I spent all morning looking for a way to edit my profile. I open the app on my phone and I see everything about everyone else, I can read my messages, see my taps, see the adds, there is "Browes, Inbox, Favs Store" on top there is "albums", Taps", Messages" a little emblem of people with a "=" I tap it and it gives me "favs" says "not enough favorites to start a chat". then two lines with small circles on them, choose that and get "Message Filters". Filter open relationship mssgs
Users should be able to filter mssgs from non-single profiles if requested. Altrnatively - seriously - the open relationships/poly/etc should have their own app.

Refuse to receive mssgs from faceless profiles
Enough is enough. The constant messaging of faceless profiles should end if someone refuses to accept them. Writing on your profile NFNC does not help. This is a constant harrassment by anonymous profiles and Grindr should respect the privacy of users.
