Some information should be mandatory to fill in during registration.Encourage or reward people for completing their profile information.
People use this app to find others who match their preferences, and this becomes much harder when profiles are left incomplete. Non-sensitive profile details should be made mandatory to fill in — for example, tribes and ethnicity.
For ethnicity, detailed explanations should be provided, and the selection should not be changeable afterward. For tribes, users should be allowed to select multiple options, but leaving it blank should not be allowed. Detailed information about each tribe should also be shown before making a selection. Add mandatory face verification and a blue tick system for verified users to ensure authentic profiles, reduce fake and timepass accounts, and improve safety and trust on the platform. Currently, genuine users with real profile photos often still need to repeatedly prove their identity. With face verification, users can verify once and then get a visible “verified” label or blue tick on their profile, similar to Tinder, so their authenticity is clearly shown without repeated proof.

Local only matching feature
Please add a feature where users only see profiles from their current location/city via GPS, auto-updating on location change. This improves safety, reduces fake/timepass profiles, and enables easy nearby meets without 10–15 km travel.

Hard to find which profile to unblock and to chat after unblocking
While using grindr, we're often forced to block or to mask the profile of many peoples. We can unblock them in the settings but, when we're used to block a large number of profiles, it's hard to find which one we want to unblock because we can't visualize the profiles that we blocked before unblocking them and profiles often changes pictures. The idea is to add a button that allows us to see the profile before unblocking it to make sure that we picked the good profile and also to chat directly with the profile after unblocking it because actually…

Add trip
I have an idea for a future feature. Since users can already add trips, what if Grindr could also connect travelers going to the same city during the same dates?
For example, if I’m traveling to Barcelona from August 10–17, I could see other profiles that are also visiting Barcelona during those dates. It could help people meet, make friends, attend events together, or connect before arriving.
I think this would make the travel feature much more interactive and useful.

Why is it that you have to pay to use the incognito button you shouldn't have to pay for that nor to be able to unsend a photo or a message
You should have free access to the incognito feature.

Issue for free account
Since many months and updates I’ve been keeping seeing people in my town grid who actually are 50 km far from my city. I compared the issue with a friend who has a paid account and it turns out he doesn’t have the same issue. I uninstalled the app, and installed again. PlanetRomeo which basically uses the same gps radius approach works fine. Is it to push people to buy subscription? I hope not, but it’s so annoying. Please advise thanks
