Prevent AI images uploading
Uploading of AI generated or modified photos should be disallowed. Easy to detect via image metadata. More difficult for scammers and bots to upload such photo.

Disable taps option
We should have the option to disable taps. 99% of taps now are nothing but bots and scammers trying to get you off the site. Taps should be something that we have the option of disabling, and if someone tries to tap us, they should receive a message that says “this user has disabled tabs. Please message them directly.” This would cut down on a lot of the bots and the nonsense that have become way too prevalent on the app.

How about filters to block profiles that are not your type from appearing on your grid? Which would also be usable to customize your grid.
How about filters to block profiles that are not your type from appearing on your grid? Which would also be usable to customize your grid. I use another app that allows me to select ethnicity. I am white but prefer black and middle eastern men. I’d love to be able to customize my search and tailor it to my liking.

I need face verification and verification batch for real users
Please consider adding face verification with a blue tick feature to reduce catfishing and fake profiles. This will help ensure only original members are verified, allowing users to clearly prove their identity through a verified badge. It will build trust among users and make interactions safer and more genuine.

My grid is full of people that be stalking me and taking advantages of the real regular users and making sexual activity a truly chaos
Lately I feel a bunch of people is just creating and using the app as a personal tool to damage either people they had personal situations with or be against them... or the community in general. Or even to take advantage of LGTB+ focusing in their situation as "minority" are we really in Southern California 2026 like this?

Tiered access system
Unverified/fake accounts should be limited to basic use (like only 3 chats per day), while full features should be available only to verified users. This will reduce fake profiles and improve safety for real users.

Add a toggle to remove international profiles
I think it's pretty simple. I live near the Canadian border with America and don't want to lead someone on because we didn't realize we were in different fucking countries
My suggestion is to either add a toggle that removes users not in your country from your grid, or to display a flag either in their bio or on their grid icon to show that you may need to deal with the hassles of crossing a nation's border

The Øresund problem
Living in Southern Sweden (Skåne) we see an increasing number of Danish profiles in our grid. In absolute distance they are close, but in reality, they’re in another country, sometimes two hours away by transport. Recently the browse feature has become less precise, meaning that, unlike before, you cannot choose to browse profiles specifically in e.g. Malmö or Lund. This is all very frustrating, as meeting up has become extremely difficult. Either Grindr has to start filter profiles by country/network or revert to old browsing features to make meeting people nearby easier – as in nearby by train, bike, car,…

An in-app gifting or credit system that users can send to each other should be added.
People could reward each other without having to share their real credit card information or full names.

Bring back the account freeze/suspend feature.
Bring back the account freeze/suspend feature.
We all sometimes travel to places that may not be safe for LGBTQ+ people, and instead of deleting our accounts, we may want to temporarily freeze them and use them again later. Please bring this feature back.2 votes -
