1. Grindr Free Restrictions Are out of control

   Ok. The last thing you did was putting a barrier to fresh page and tying it to the Grindr extra. Now free users can only speak to first 6 people close to them on fresh page. Cool. We got it. But you’re so really desperate to make me switch to extra. You totally lost your minds and now not allowing me to block people who last viewed me. Wow. What a pathetic way of forcing people to pay for your overly priced app. At this point I guarantee you you’re just gonna lose customers. I could even design a gay dating app myself that would be a huge success because I didn’t implement this greedy shady business practices that forces people to the bone to pay for your app. I only am on Grindr because for some reason I don’t understand people choose to be on Grindr instead of other apps. I don’t understand why you’re this much greedy when you are the number 1 gay dating app. I’m not switching to f****n extra or god forbid unlimited. Because your pricing is outrageous and I won’t support your stand point ‘people are gonna pay for it anyway’ restrict the free version to 6 people also on nearby section. And don’t even let me explore or give me 3 chances to message someone in a day. I’m still not paying for your overpriced app. Full stop.

5. Feature for categories/favorites and Traveling

   Great additions do the paid version would be those supporting people who travel. Here goes.

   1) instead of a single favorite on a profile by clicking the star, treat more like a bookmark and allow you to create a naked category You can then associate profiles with different categories and filter accordingly. By city, into?, etc.

   2) in the messages, allow a filter to use the same favorite categories so you can show only those messages from profiles in a particular category.

   3). These features could even be expanded to support auto category so that when you’re in a new location. And you favorite - a setting allows those to be automatically assigned to a major metropolitan area that you’re in. Ie. NYC, London, Madrid, Topeka. So if you favorite someone while in that location the app could help you filter and keep up with those from that location. It wouldn’t necessarily use the profile location for this. Rather it would simply suggest a category name for you based on wheee you are and assign it. (Dependent on 1 & 2) above.

10. Eliminate bugs in unlimited losing options like free account

    I keep getting my account benefits taken away and ads and limited viewing groups to see replacing the ad free larger groups to see. It’s a bug that tries to recharge me each time it fails (daily and often multiple times) to then maybe fix if it recognizes while spinning hour glass charged Ny card after freezing up leads me to being to over it with time blown, money wasted and people /opportunities missed or pissed off in long silence neglecting the few profiles I’m limited to seeing. Idea: fuck it so it works correctly. Consider compensating those like me who have had months of buggy issues and recovery requests either ignored, never addressed or temporarily fixed then next upgrade causes a failure again. Plus BOOST sucks and is a sneaky way to bill those not wanting it when it pops up during typing. And twice now I’ve bought upgraded accounts when not wanting it and mistakenly ordered. Immediately after I do, I’ve contacted about the error and requested refunds for annual payment but never got a reply. Ever! Fix that !

13. How Grindr allows users to continually return to your grid even after you have blocked them

    I don't need to come up with an idea on how to alleviate this problem. The idea has already been thought of and the ability to keep this from happening already exists.you are putting myself and fellow users of this app in harms way. If you continue to allow this to happen you are opening up a potential lawsuit.i pay to use certain services that are available on this app and I am certainly not getting what I pay for.

17. Keep XTRA paywall out of “fresh” tab

    The fresh tab was until the last update the only place you could meet some interesting people from a little further away without a paywall. Sadly this is no longer the case. To keep the app enjoyable with some variation for people who live in rural areas (not many guys like us around), I think the fresh tab should’ve stayed the way it was. Maybe this can be solved with some clever ad placement on Grindr’s part.

    problem: sometimes it takes a lot of time to find some past message or we can even forget some guy that we talked and enjoyed bc we talked with a lot of other guys that day / talked a long time ago.

    solution: make possible to organize messages into folders, like:
    -guys on city X
    -guys to look up
    -favourits
