Update notes
When there is an update to the app, it would be better if we have notes like what the fix has provided and what has improved so we can check and report back if there is any issues.

export chat
i know that most people in here don't chat long, but i like chatting and often have very deep conversations with people and share stories that i would like to keep. i spend a lot of time then copying each message and pasting it into a Google doc... it would be much easier if there was a function for selecting and copying or sharing all texts, like in telegram, or exporting the chat like in whatsapp. thanks!

No picture, no chat
If someone doesn't have a profile picture, they should only ne able to see profiles that have no profile pic.If someone has a profile pic up that's not a face pic, they should only be able to see profiles with a similar pic. If someone has a face pic as a profile pic, they should be able to see all profiles. You have to find a way to encourage openness and find a way to discourage stalkers and shady behavior.

Equality in profile posts!
I don’t find it fair for me to look down and see so many explicit pics but I can’t post some spicy pics of my own. Very unfair and I believe there needs to be better moderation in this app. If you won’t accept it from one person you shouldn’t accept it from everyone on the app. If one person can post spicy pics then every single person on the app should feel free to as well. Very unhappy with this

Haven't Chatted With/Chatted With Filter
I think the Grindr app should have a filter to only show people you haven't chatted with yet or only people you have already chatted with. Just like there is a blue indicator on the user's profile that says chatted and the minutes and hours in 1 day, there should also be an indicator on that user's profile that just says chatted and it should be in a different color than blue and should stay on that user's profile to let you know you have already chatted with that user, since the blue chatted (minutes/hours ago) indicator will go away,…

Stop force opening links
Stop force opening links in Grindr. It is not only unwanted, but potentially dangerous and against basic cyber hygiene. Thank you!
Attached is one example of a force opened junk link. Not only is it annoying and potentially dangerous, but it is completely unrelated to any personal interests, and therefore does not add in any way to the User Experience.5 votes -

Flag failed messages to appear in red in message thread
Personally I would like to see if the last message I sent failed in red, in the message thread as it does when the conversation is open. Would help immensely! Rather than looking at the thread and assuming it sent successfully because it appears as a sent message

block certain geolocations/regions from finding you through the explore feature
There are folks like me who are refugees who flee countries such as Saudi Arabia and want to block those areas from being able to view us so that we don’t become victims of religious assassinations or becomes exposed in any other way that endangers ourselves. I know we can turn off the explore feature altogether, but a lot of potential matches lie in that feature and we shouldn’t have to give up the whole feature in a situation like this. This is one of many potential uses for such a feature.

User gets to choose part of song that is played on profile
Not very important but I’d love to be able to choose which part of the songs are played in the ‘My Top Songs’ section of my profile. I wanna give people eargasms as well as orgasms 😩😩
