I believe that including this term is counterintuitive and contradictory to sexual behavior. Compared to the sexual roles of top, bottom, and versatile, the inclusion of a role that abstains from sexual activity could potentially pose a threat to homosexual activity. The term 'Side' may also be associated with asexual experimental behavior, where individuals consciously decide not to participate in practical sexual behavior. It is my opinion that terms like 'Side' incrementally attempt to circumvent homosexual behavior. I find it disheartening that popular groups on Grindr would prioritize 'gay' sex over embracing and appreciating homosexual sex. I believe that restricting homosexual activity undermines the concept of being 'Gay.' There appears to be an agenda from privileged families within LGBT or anti homosexual behavior communities who seek to shape and redefine what they deem as acceptable behavior, placing limitations on the homosexual and 'Gay' lifestyle.
