5. Option to let people know conversation preference when not interested/matched

   Dear Team,

   It's been an ongoing chat amongst LGBT+ group that when chatting on dating app, do people prefer to be blocked right away if someone is not interested in them or do they prefer to be ignored when someone initiated a chat.

   Wouldn't that be nice if there could be a tag or something that display user's preference for that? Option 1 is prefer block right away, (just a conversation preference), Options 2 is prefer to be quietly ignored/fades out, and Option 3 is if user didn’t choose any of those 2 options, then this means they prefer play by ear.

6. Why do you have to pay to translate a conversation it should already be done when you sign up it asks what your primary language is, so why?

   Why should you have to pay for translate that should already be the very first thing that's done you sign up it asked for your primary speaking language and it automatically should be that language only is the only thing that you can see it should automatically translate everything why should we have to sit there and download a translation app then either write it down or take a screenshot and then go translate it and then come back and talk to them in their tongue native language if they're going to speak their native language then they need to have their own app. And yes I do understand that people are bilingual but that still is not fair to the people that are not that they have to pay for something that should have already been done in the first place

    please fix the issue with the payment with EFECTY in Colombia, when you choose, for example, the xtra for 1 year, the app shows that Efecty payment is not allowed in grindr. but, when you choose the option for unlimited (24 hours), the app allosw the EFECTY payment.

14. Hide location, distance

    I live in a small area I'm on tinder & grindr
    I've seen someone on grindr who was (trying to be discreet) they scratched with a pen over there face but I was able to tell who they was because tinder & grindr have the same location, distance. And a few other people. You can hide distance but if people beside that profile have it on then you know how far they are still

    I think the distance, location shouldn't be visible on everyone's profile for safety and especially privacy reasons and if people chatting want to share distance, location would be better

16. Have to close and open app after messages fail to resend the last 3 updates

    GRINDR is run by people who virulently hate the LGBT community. 17. Profiles, ads, and pricing..

    So this is a multilayered list of things that really grind my gears, no pun intended. The amount of ads after viewing one of the 25 profiles available to the non-paying folk is outrageous. Really? Because we are not subscribing to your overpriced plans we get to only freely message around 25-30 guys in our immediate area? And then, when we do click on one of those profiles, we are immediately directed to a candy crush ad or ad for prep that lasts for 3 minutes if we don’t close the app and reopen it. I understand how ads work, but shouldn’t all have enough money in the bank to ease the ads on us “poor folk”? But if you must bombard us with ads, it still isn’t enough to convince me to “upgrade” to “Xtra” or “Unlimited”. Then you limit how many videos we can send? Limit us to only 1 expiring picture every 24 hours? Then we get to unlock 3 profiles for free on the explore page? Yippee. 🙄 Then if we think about upgrading, y’all charge $19.99 and $39.99 for Grindr Xtra and Grindr Unlimited, respectively. I would like to know how broke college dudes are expected to fit those prices into their budgets? I’m not one, but the fact that I have a full time job and still don’t think it’s worth upgrading should say something. Even during the pandemic y’all never let up on proving? And what’s with this “boost” your profile for $9.99? You expect us to pay $9.99 to boost our profile for 1 hour? Yes this is a rant. Check your ratings on the app stores. But I guess since the top .01% of rich gay dudes are subscribers, y’all don’t care with the other 99.99% of us have to say…
