Need a big update
The app seems to be very glitchy after an update? I literally deleted and downloaded after 3 days and it is still off. Some of the responses shows as a notification. You don’t get notified and the online filter seems to be off yoo

Stop with the incessant full screen ads that interrupt normal use
OMG I swear I will delete this and go back to bars and saunas! Not a single app I have ever used has been this prolific and downright greedy in FORCING full screen ads.
In other apps, these ads are for accessing a "powerup"/"unlocking a level"/ "getting free tokens"/etc. I.E. to obtain something extra! In no universe is it acceptable to have the normal use of a free app constantly interrupted like this!!!!!!!And with all the bugs and glitches, no f*kn way am I paying for this app!

A way to verify yourself
Right now we are all aware there are many individuals who have fake profiles, and even individuals who are scamming people. I understand people want to be discreet, but there should be a feature kind of like tinder where you actually get a checkmark for being verified with your profile. Somebody in the past created a fake profile trying to sextort me which I ended up reporting to the FBI. The problem is they blocked my profile right away before I was able to report it to Grindr. Living at a border crossing I have a lot of issues using the app as I keep getting men from the US and I am in Canada.
I would love to filter by country as I find I waste a lot of time either chatting with people to find they are not in Canada.
It’s pretty annoying and causes me to use other apps instead.

Place the date of when the account is open in the profile. In the format 00/00/0000. That will help us to know if that “person“ is a scam.
Put the start date of the account in all accounts. Paid or free.

I don’t get any push notifications
For over a month now I haven’t been notified of anything and at times when I open the app I receive everything at once or sometimes I get notified when I already responded

Different color options
Give us options to change the color theme of the chats/app itself. Grindr's UI is nice and all, but I'd like it more if i could make it look the way I want.

Trans and females
Grinder is dieing because of females and Trans. If you are allowing them here then give me a filter so I don't have to see them AND they can NOT see me. Just a preference so enable it so there is less hate and less whining!!! This used to be an awesome gay men site! Now it's being destroyed
