2. Accounts ban

   I have been a premium account holder with subscription for the unlimited option.

   I would like to inform you that you have put a ban on my account even though I have not done anything illegal or against the use policy and terms and conditions. I understand other profiles may have reported me over time however this was just as aggression and hate or attack conspiracy.

   You can check my chats. I have always maintained respect and honesty. I have chosen the unlimited function and have been paying for Grindr Xtra and Grindr Unlimited regularly over the years so that I can take advantage of meeting people all over the world.

   I have noticed that when using the "Explore" functionality, the person we may contact can see me as a treat or a fake profile because they are not aware that it is possible to get in touch cross border from one country to another. This usually results in allegations that I am using a fake GPS or location to get in touch with someone say in Bangladesh (because they are not aware that it is possible to see profiles located in a completely different country from where I am based i.e. UK).

   It should also be taken into consideration that users can easily block a profile if they do not feel comfortable with my profile or me contacting them. So I am quite surprised how Grindr allow someone or multiple users to report a profile as something dangerous or as accuse of acting against the policies and terms and conditions even though that is not the case. This is just a way to annoy and almost like sabotage for genuine people who are paying extra money (during this cost of living crisis) to just give a little bit extra chance to communicate and to explore the LGBT network around the globe. The LGBT community already face a lot of hate crime and discrimination and on top of that when Grindr chooses to ban someone's profile without any founded reasons that is just not fair.

   I understand that this message may just be another email request to look into this matter in depth with a sensible eye and fairness to ensure there is no injustice in this world where us LGBT people already face so much trouble, rejections, hatred, etc.

   I mean I just dont understand.... I have not violated any rules or terms and conditions... Just because a bunch of people dont like me or dont approve me having the premium upgraded unlimited account they decide to report me and Grindr simply stab on me by putting a ban without any reason at all? I have not said anything to upset anyone or used any inappropriate language to upset anyone or said anything that is against the conditions for use.

   I hope you will make a fair decision and lift the ban on my account as I have paid a lot of money and now I have also lost my subscription. Bear in mind that this is a conscious choice that I have made to spend regular monthly subscription to help my mental health. And this is what I get in return? Not only it makes me feel very sad and upset for all the reasons mentioned above but also pushes me to almost lose all my faith in the LGBT system and feeling safe and being treated fairly by platforms like Grindr.

3. Trans need they're own app too many on here

   Grindr was supposed to be a gay hookup or dating app not for trans people that are guys to female or female to male or the ones they're looking for a male and female couple or the ones that say they're straight or the hustlers or the masseuses it should be just guys looking for guys everyone else should not be allowed on the site and also these young kids that keep popping up on here and they're reported and they create another ad. It's to the point where I'm seriously checking out other apps because this is nothing but a trans app anymore or hustlers or content creators like the one that I blocked at least 32 times in the last week and he comes right back with another ad that their content creators their hustlers looking for money and taking video of people were the masseuse is looking for money and they're nothing more than prostitutes this site has become very pathetic you should consider changing the name to waste of time or not my thing or for some of them you could even change the name of Grindr to trash because that's how bad it's become

4. Verifying every user when they first sign up- too many profiles with NO pictures!

   For verification purposes. Like tinder and MOST other dating/hookup apps have some sort of photo verification system to prove that it’s actually who you say you are. I am SO SICK OF ALL THESE USERS ON GRINDR WITH NO PHOTOS! in my opinion, I think it should be a requirement that if you want to be on Grindr then you need to have a clear, visible unaltered face picture of what you look like, so other members can see who all is in the room AND it’s especially annoying when those exact people with no pictures on their profile go and message someone….. leaving the receiver confused, frustrated and wondering what this person looks like…. 7. The freaking inbox refreshes everytime I tap the 'return' or 'back' button of my phone.

   The inbox used to be NOT REFRESHING everytime I go back to my thread list. But NOW IT ALWAYS REFRESHES which irritates the hell out of me. Because I have user profiles that are pinned to top.

   Also the RED indicator that shows A NEW MESSAGE has been received shows EVEN IF I DID NOT RECEIVE any messages. It shows as well WHEN I SENT the other user a chat and when I check if there were any chats that I received, to my surprise, there was none.

   As of writing this topic. The issue started happening 2 updates from February. Im not sure if that was mid of the month that I decided to update the app. I never intended to update the app because I am happy with the version of the app prior to the new update last month.

   And the new update is totally irritating. Its annoying as hell!

9. Adding two positions to your profile.

   With the addition of the position "side" you have made it a little bit more difficult for the other "position-types".

   With the added "side" it sounds like tops and bottoms only look for anal sex. So future users will look at us as being anal only.

   So my suggestion is that you can add two position on your profile. For examble top+side, vers+side or btm+side. That way tops and btms won't get excluded in a "side" filter search, if people think only sides do blowjobs. smiling

11. Make a button for the “Albums” to do “Stop Sharing with All Users”

    Don’t you hate scrolling and clicking to “stop sharing album” and then you have a bunch of users marked off already and accidentally click above that menu pop up and the “stop sharing users” pop up goes away and need to start all over.
    So, Grindr admin we need a button that just “stops sharing with everyone” because it’s a privacy and security problem too.

14. Allow users to block calls.

    I don't want to be recieveing video calls to begin with as it's not a feature I have any interest in. The last thing I want is to be getting video calls from random guys who are just impatient for me to reply to their messages. Would be nice to be able to turn the call feature on and off so people couldn't even attempt to call you unless you wanted.
