2. Verifying identity. This will protect all users and eliminate fake profile and profiles that try to exploit users like myself for money.

   Suggested Feature: Verified Identity for All Users

   I’d like to suggest that Grindr implement mandatory identity verification for every account. Many other platforms already use facial verification or ID checks to confirm that users are real people. A similar system on Grindr would significantly improve user safety.

   Verified identities could help:

   • Reduce fake and impersonation accounts.
   • Prevent scammers and extortion attempts.
   • Make it much harder for banned users to create new accounts.
   • Better protect minors by helping verify users’ ages.
   • Increase trust and confidence when people interact on the platform.

   I recently encountered someone who attempted to extort me by threatening to post false accusations unless I paid them. I didn’t give in, but it made me realize how easily anonymous fake accounts can be used to harass and target people.

   A verified-user system would make Grindr a safer place for everyone while preserving privacy through secure verification methods. I hope you’ll seriously consider making identity verification a core safety feature.

    I think Grindr could add better external resources for members looking for casual connections outside the app. For anyone interested, go for sexhookups dating at https://www.sexhookups.org/ - it's a solid alternative worth checking out. Would love to see Grindr partner with services like this or at least allow linking out to trusted sites in profiles.

15. I Didn’t Expect to Get Hooked on Ragdoll Archers—But “One More Round” Kept Happening

    I found Ragdoll archers the way I usually find browser games: I clicked out of curiosity, fully expecting to play for five minutes, maybe lose once, then close the tab. My first run was messy—in a funny, “wait, how did that happen?” kind of way. One second my stickman archer looked like he had an angle, and the next he’d flopped around like a real ragdoll in slow motion, making the outcome feel half skill and half chaos.

    And that’s exactly what pulled me back.

    What it feels like to play Ragdoll Archers
    The core loop is simple: aim, shoot, survive. But it’s a physics-based archery combat game, so it doesn’t play like a clean “click perfect shot” thing. The ragdoll movement is unpredictable, and sometimes that unpredictability helps you—other times it absolutely ruins your plan.

    In my early rounds, I kept trying to “lock in” like I would in other archery games. I’d hold the aim a little too long, then notice my stamina dropping and realize I’d basically traded accuracy for panic. The game doesn’t punish you instantly every time, but once you start paying attention to your health and stamina bars, you feel every decision.

    Enemies don’t just sit there either. In continuous battles, they pressure you, and a mistimed shot can cost you fast. I’d line up what I thought was a clean headshot, release… and then my arrow would take the scenic route because my character was still bouncing or drifting from the last movement.

    Health, stamina, and apples (aka: the reason I stopped rushing)
    What surprised me wasn’t just how chaotic the ragdoll physics could be—it was how important resource management felt once I made it past the first “dies immediately” moment.

    Health matters, obviously, but stamina is what really changes the rhythm. If your stamina gets low, aiming and movement feel more constrained, and suddenly “easy” fights turn into survival puzzles. I also learned the hard way that you can’t ignore the apples. When apples start showing up during a run, they become these little lifelines you have to actually hit with your arrow.

    I remember one moment where I almost refused an apple and tried to finish the enemy instead. Big mistake. I ended up taking damage and then having to scramble later when my health bar was already cratering. Since then, I’ve ended up making apple shots a habit—red for health, green for stamina, and the golden ones that restore both feel like a small mercy.

    Skulls, upgrades, and unlocking arrow types
    The first time I started collecting skulls after defeating enemies, I expected them to be just… points. Nope. They’re used for upgrades, and it makes progress feel real instead of random.

    I spent my skulls on things that helped me survive longer, because my offense wasn’t great yet. Later, I tried leaning into upgrades that made fights quicker, and the difference was noticeable. It’s also cool that different arrow types become available as you progress. Once I unlocked special ammo and started experimenting—thinking more about what kind of enemy I was facing—it stopped being just “aim better” and started being “choose smart.”

    That’s when the “just one more round” feeling turned into something stronger. I wasn’t only chasing survival anymore; I was chasing the next unlock, the next run where my choices finally clicked.

    What surprised me most about Ragdoll Archers
    Honestly? How often I’d laugh at what my character did, and then immediately get punished for it.

    The ragdoll movement is funny, but it’s also the reason positioning and timing matter. I’d see the enemy line up their shot and realize my own movement had thrown off everything. Sometimes the physics helped me land a weirdly perfect angle. Other times, I’d fire confidently and watch my archer tumble in the background like it was a completely different minigame.

    A few personal tips (from my messy hands)
    I’m no expert, but a couple things made a real difference for me. First, don’t treat aiming like a passive activity—holding too long drains stamina, and that’s when you start making worse decisions. Second, if your health or stamina is low, prioritize apples instead of trying to “power through.” The game rewards that pause more than it looks like it should.

    And lastly, spend skulls based on what’s killing you. If you’re dying too quickly, survivability upgrades will feel like cheating. If enemies last forever, then think about upgrades that help you finish fights before you get overwhelmed. Also, when special arrows appear, experiment. Even when you miss, you’ll learn what each arrow type actually changes about your shots.

    Playing with others
    I eventually tried the PvP and 2 Player modes too. PvP is a different kind of tense, because you’re reading another player’s timing, not just surviving waves. In 2 Player/co-op, splitting attention between close threats and longer shots felt like the most natural way to handle the chaos—two stickman archers, fewer panic moments.

    If you’ve been stuck playing the same kind of online game for too long, Ragdoll Archers feels like a refreshing change: a browser game with a physics-based archery vibe that rewards patience, attention, and occasional bravery.

    So yeah—I’m telling you to try it. Play a couple rounds, take your lumps, and see if you get pulled into that loop the way I did. Then jump in with someone and let me know how your “one more round” ends.
